Adrien is an average kid. {🎶who no one understands.}
More than average, really, if you consider him being 'the toughest sixteen year old kid in their side of the river' is average.
At that age, he's already drinking, smoking, fighting, etc. His father is a drunk and barely home. His mother left him when he was two. His best friend is Nino, a little nerd who has been his friend since they were in kindergarten. Adrien can always count on him.
Adrien was playing pool at Kim's, a bar that he goes to almost everyday, with Charles. Charles is a crafty guy, has a permanent scowl and is feisty when angry. It was a misty Tuesday night, when Max rushed in, panting.
"Adrien!" He breathed heavily, "Theo wants a word with you outside!"
Adrien continued his game, "What's Theo want from me?" He kept his eyes concentrated on the cue ball.
"He heard what you said to his chick, an' he ain't happy 'bout it."
"Tell him I'll be there in ten, right after I beat Charlie over here." And with that, Adrien made a ball in the hole and set his pool stick aside. "If he's bringin' friends, then I am." He strode his way to a booth where Nino was reading a book. Adrien ruffled his hair a bit before taking a sip of his drink.
Max took a seat in the booth next to Nino, "But what about what the Ladybug said about the gang fights?"
"The hell with the Ladybug!" Adrien raised his voice. Let's just say, it was a touchy subject. "She hasn' been aroun' for two goddamn weeks, she's long gone by now!"
Normally everone should be afraid when Adrien raised his voice, but not Nino. Everyone backed away a bit to give Adrien room before he breaks like a fish tank filled with water.
