W R O O O N G!!!!"Adrien," Marinette groaned, knowing she couldn't kick him out. She tried dozens before, now it's just no use. "Keep wearing that every time I see you and I'm gonna have to call you Chat Noir." Although she does like the teasing.
Adrien hid the blush when Marinette lowered down the volume of the music. God, she is so oblivious, he thought. Adrien has been crushing on Mari for three years now, yet she still pushes him away whenever he gets close. "Fine by me, my lady."
Marinette, on the other hand, sees him as a close friend, yet still gets annoyed when he interrupts her alone time.
"So Mari," Adrien crossed one leg over the other, "What's it this weekend?"
Marinette stretched. "I got a competition next Sunday, so if you'll excuse me--" She re-tied her hair, which Adrien found adorable, and turned the volume back up.
He watched as Marinette had danced before. He saw her practice windmills and headspins, her jackhammers and baby spins. He knows that she slays the damn thing.
He watched for fifteen minutes, and heard Tikki coming up to him. She snuggled her way onto Adrien's lap and her tail wagged. He smiled, petting down her fur, wishing Plagg was as affectionate as Tikki.
Plagg was his stray cat, whom his dad knows nothing about. He sometimes likes to stay in and out of Adrien's room, and Adrien know when to place Camembert for him.
"Aww...Tikki likes you!" Marinette smiled down on Adrien, and Tikki perked happily, jumping into Mari's arms.
Adrien laughed. "Bugaboo, she has always liked me." Biting his lip, hoping what he said wasn't as rude.
Marinette rolled her eyes and groaned, but with a smile. "Whatever, Chat." She put Tikki back onto his lap, squeezing a bottle to her mouth. "Open up, down the hatch." She pointed the bottle to Adrien, and just in time before she squeezed, Tikki jumped off his lap.
Adrien opened his mouth, catching the water. "Aww, thanks my lady. Maybe next time, water won't be the only thing running down your throat."
A/N: wtf im so dirty
An invisible hand formed in his mind and smacked his head inside. Then that invisible hand slapped him across the face.
Marinette stared at him wide eyed, but laughed it off. "Very funny," she smirked, capping the bottle and went back to do her routine.
Adrien sighed in relief. Maybe she didn't notice it. He thought.
He looked at the dog that cuddled back on him, and Adrien swore he thought Tikki was squinting with a smirk on her face.
"What?" Adrien blushed accusingly, continued to watch as his crush dance.
Some time later, Adrien removed his jacket and threw it on the beanbag. "Back in a bit, princess." He smirked.
"Or don't at all." Marinette playfully joked. Adrien didn't know how much time has passed but he does know that people need food to survive.
He walked down the street and turned a couple blocks, where the Dupain-Cheng bakery hung over. From the windows, Alya and Nino were laughing it up, a plate of croissants on their table and Alya holding a cup to her mouth.
