Marinette waited for Adrien as time ticked by.

"I swear, if he is pranking with Gabe again..." she mumbled to herself.

She found a bench nearby to sit, and waited.

And waited.

She decided to take out her phone and listen to music.

I just wanna stay in the sun where I find

I know it's hard sometimes

Marinette groaned to herself.

Where the hell is my boyfriend?

//Adrien

"If you drop this, Nino, I will make a purse out of your back hair."

Adrien threatened, holding the little box for Nino to put the item inside.

"You think she'll like it?" Nino asked, which was an insanely dumb question.

"Please, I can't wait to see the look on her face when she sees this." Adrien chuckled as he shut the box closed and stuffed it in his pocket.

Adrien was 23 years old, and the past three years was the best years of his life.

"How are you gonna--"

"First," Adrien cut him off, "I'm gonna take her to the lake."

"Where you two first met?"

"Yep. Then, I'll just wing it."

Nino stared at Adrien with a dumb look in his eye, a look that says, "Bro, you can do better than that."

"Wish me luck," Adrien beamed, exiting the jewelry store and checking the time--

Crap.

"Crap." He mumbled, jumping into his car and quickly speeding off into the streets.

He was supposed to meet Marinette ten minutes ago.

Marinette snored lightly.

BeEp Beep!

She shook her head and outstretched her arm, looking for the alarm button.

BEeEeeeEeeEEP BEEeeeEePpp ya lazy ass!!

Marinette shot up, and found her boyfriend beeping his car, smiling to himself.

"Evening, princess." He smirked.
