A/N: This one's a short one, sorry about it :D...or maybe not
"One Caramel Macchiato for Kim." Lila called, Kim excitingly grabbed the cup.
Lila was covering for Marinette, who was taking a five minute nap in the back. Five minutes turned into ten. She came up with her hair messed up in her visor and her apron was sideways.
"Mari," Lila rushed to her to fix her, "Here lemme help.." she fixed up her shirt, her hair, visor, and apron. "Cmon, you were out for too long."
"I was only out five minutes, Lila, no big deal."
"Five?" Lila furrowed her eyebrows. "Try ten."
Marinette wide-eyed herself awake. "Ten? Why didn't you wake me up?"
Lila shrugged. "You look adorable when you sleep."
Marinette groaned, and took her place at counter. "Salut, Sabrina," she yawned, "One pumpkin spice latte for Chloe, as usual?"

Adrien was nearly sweating down nervously. Today's the day.
He picked up the cherry blossoms from the flower shop, and thought about what he's going to say. In the middle of his thoughts, Alya ran up with her phone in her hand.
"Is it true???" She buzzed. "Are you really gonna ask--"
Adrien nodded before she could finish, and she squealed in delight. "I can't believe this is happening! I gotta get everything on tape!"
"Considering if she even says yes, I just won't know until I ask," Adrien sighed, fixing the flowers. "You think she'll give me a chance?"
"Give you a chance?" Alya scoffed. "I'm pretty sure she's practically been waiting for you to ask her!"
"You think?" Adrien blushed. "I can never tell how she feels about me."
Alya rolled her eyes. "Well what are you doing? Go get her tiger!"
Adrien nodded and huffed off. Alya took a short cut to get there quicker to film the whole thing.

Marinette was well rested and awake. She had just gave Jackson his drink and a croissant. It was a slow day.
"So!" Lila clapped her hands together. "Let's talk."
"About what?"
"Not what," Lila smiled, "Who. How's it going with Adrien?"
Marinette shrugged. "Nothing much. What's it to you?"
Lila held her hands up. "Hey, just wanting to know."
"There's nothing," Marinette sighed, "That's the problem I guess."
Lila furrowed her eyebrows. "So you want there to be something?"
Marinette smirked. "I don't know anymore. Maybe?"
"I knew it," Lila teased, "You do have a thing for Adrien!"
"Erm," Nathanaël cleared his throat, "One caramel frappuccino."
Marinette nodded, and took the order. She added the whip cream as a final touch, and gave it to Lila, who gave it to Nino. "Merci, Marinette," he winked at her.
"What is that about?" Lila wondered. A couple more people started making their way in, making employees busy again.
Marinette shrugged again. "I'll be at the back for a couple minutes, I need to check up on the pastries."
"Oh sure, yeah, I can handle a few customers." Lila nodded. "Bonjour Monsieur, what'll it be today?"

Adrien turned another block and saw the coffee shop just a few minutes in walking distance. Once he got the last couple steps in, he notices only Lila at the front. He fixes his shirt, and made sure the cherry blossoms were perfect.
He walked up to Lila, who squealed. "Is that for who I think--"
Before she could finish, he nodded. "Think she'll say yes?"
"You have no idea," Lila smirked. "I'll call her out for you."
Adrien made a small nod, and held a breath in. He kept the flowers hidden behind his back.

"Marinette!" Lila came practically shrieking down the back. "You have to come out right now!" She found Mari, and tugged on her arm.
"Lila!" Marinette protested, "But--the pastri--"
"Forget the pastries! This is important!" Lila quickly pulled her until she no longer resisted.
Marinette came out wide eyed in surprise when she saw Adrien behind the front of the counter, one hand behind his back. "You made me miss pastries for him?" She blushed.
"Marinette, will you just shut your pie hole and listen to what he has to say." Lila walked behind the counter, sneakily holding a phone up to record the two.
"Salut, Adrien. The usual, I bet?" Marinette fingergunned him, grabbing a cup to start on his drink.
"No, no not yet," Adrien stuttered, holding his hand out to stop her, "There's something I wanna ask you instead."
Marinette set the cup down, and both eyes straight on him. "Shoot," she simply said.
She watches as Adrien took a deep breath, and slowly brought his hand from behind to the front. She sees him hold a bouquet of cherry blossoms.
"Adrien," she sighed, not knowing what to say, "I--"
"I've wanted to ask you for a while now, actually," he paused one last time, leaving Marinette to hold her breath.
He breathed out his words clearly and audibly. "Will you do me the honor of going on a date with me, my lady?" He held the flowers to her as question.
Marinette couldn't help but smile, smile because the guy she's been crushing on since middle school has finally asked her out. She was smiling with delight, and too speechless to say anything.
Finally, she reached out and took the cherry blossoms. "I would love to," she answered.
Adrien made a wide smile facial expression, clearly he was happy. "I guess I'll see you tonight then," he chuckled, he reached over the counter and tipped Marinette's face closer, leaving a quick and light kiss on the cheek.
"I'll be here," Marinette sighed happily. "Oh, and your usual?"
"Make it a double and to go," Adrien placed a ten dollar bill on the counter, "One for me, one for you."
"You know I work here, right?" Marinette placed the bouquet aside, "Fine, two mocha frappuccinos for you and I."
She quickly took two cups, and was smiling nonstop, then placed one cup to Adrien, and one cup to her mouth.
"So, we'll meet here, when your shift's done." Adrien stood.
"It's a date."
