Marinette POV

8:14 am.

I slept with a smile on my face and woke up with a cold sweat. My head was spinning and my thoughts were all over the place. I was still very sleepy. While I try to at least sit up, I can hear Charlie's voice reading words off of something.

"'You know, you'd look so adorable with cat ears," Charlie's voice mocked, and when I turn to her, a phone rested in her hands, scrolling through texts.

Wait a minute.

That's my phone.

"Hey, give that back!" I reached over to her to grab my phone back but she pulled away, still reading my texts from last night.

"'G'night, my lady?'" Charlie laughed, "What a dork. Who's Adrien Agreste...heart eyes heart eyes and kitty heart eyes?"

I blush deeply, and kicked my covers off. As much as I try to reach over, she kept pulling away, and it was no use. I decided to do the impossible and got up from my bed and jumped on her, reaching for my phone while she tries to hold back her laughter. "Okay, okay, get off," Charlie pushed me off and handed me my phone, "You dorks really need to get a room already."

"It's not like that!" I felt my face burn. "We're just friends."

Charlie wiggled her eyesbrows. "Mm hmm," she responded. "Get your ass ready."

"Why?" I got up and rubbed my tired eyes. "What's going on?"

"Remember?" Charlie searched through her drawers, looking through different shirts, "We're hitting the mall!"

"Mall?" I dug around in my closet to find a cherry blossom shirt and dark blue jeans, setting them on the edge of my bed. "Fine, Imma shower first,"

"Mari, Mari, always with the morning showers."

"I like to feel clean."

I grabbed a towel and tossed it over my shoulder.

"See you in five years!" Charlie called as I shake my head smiling, shutting the door close.

I walk back in the room, fresh and clean, still in my jammies. Charlie must've left for a while since the room was quiet.

8:41.

I stripped out of my clothes and into my jeans, and when I pull my shirt over my head, I flip through the channel while waiting for Charlie to walk through the door and drag me to the mall. I hear a sharp scream behind.

My eyes widen, knowing what was going to happen next. "No, Charlie, bad girl!" I yell at the bright red headed girl as she jumps on my back, forcing me to give her a piggyback ride.

"Whoosh my Nimbus 2000!" Charlie screamed at the top of her lungs.

"I don't understand the reference!" I try to shake her off of me, falling onto my bed, putting all my weight against her.

"Alright, alright, watch the sensitive parts!" Charlie releases me and I laughed. I hear my phone ring and reached over.
