So I wrote this thing. I think I might do others like it more often, as it was really relieving. It's just a little one-shot like thing, but really short. Just a snippet of a larger picture. It's sorta based on how I've been feeling, but its not real. Like, its never actually taken place. These words have never been said; this conversation has never been had. It's just been a little "what if" incident floating around my head. So here we go.Disclaimer: This is not a true story. It is just a little conversation I dreamt up. Enjoy.

"But why? Why don't you want to talk anymore? You seem to have never ending excuses," he accuses.
"I never said I don't want to. Never. I still want to talk to you," I insist.
"Then why don't you? You're all shut off, we can't talk for more than ten minutes anymore. You're always running off!" he demands.
"I'm not! We still message all the time! I just have other stuff I have to do. And other stuff I want to to. Just because we're dating doesn't mean I have to drop everything for you!" I snap. He flinches a bit but regains his composure quickly.
"But..." he starts to counter, but I interrupt.
"Stop! Just stop with the questions! I do want to talk to you, I still want to be with you. But I can't stand meaningless small talk or listening to someone go on and on about a topic I don't like or care about. And recently, that's all that's been happening. As for the excuses, we got together during a quiet time in my life. I'm usually this busy, and I like it. I grew up having something to do all the time. But, that also makes my alone time all the more precious to me. Don't expect me to always be available," I pause for a breath in the middle of my rant.
"Listen..." he starts out again.
"No! I wasn't done. Talking's great and all, but I still have trouble over the phone. It's always been something that's only used for a good reason to me. It doesn't make sense to have small talk over the phone. So stop with all that. We don't need to talk if there's nothing to talk about. But I do love talking to you, I do. But I really want to talk to you face to face sometimes. And then I get all caught up in daydreams about it and I find myself wanting to grab your face and kiss the living daylights out of you. So talking on the phone can cause some issues. I'm gonna stop talking now though, because I've lost all my fire and have gotten completely off topic," I finish breathlessly. He just stares at me for a moment, shocked, then bursts out laughing. I let out a quiet, raspy laugh too.
"Oh. Come here," he chuckles and pulls me into his arms. I just smile and let him.
