Tammy’s POV

We were now in Danny’s car going to the spa date I was talking about with Zoey. Danny was our driver for today since I practically begged him to drive us today. After the spa date with Zoey, I was planning on treating my two best friends with anything they want. I just felt so happy today. In fact, I was grinning from ear-to-ear like a mad woman!

Why was I happy you ask? Here’s an explanation to why I was happy…

FLASHBACK

I saw Veronica talking to Blake about something, smiling her flirtatious smile. I couldn’t really hear anything she’s saying since I was so far from them.

But what I saw next was something I certainly did not expect… 

Blake stood up whilst shaking his head and walked away leaving Veronica stunned, mouth hanging open from shock. A few people from the field saw this too, and they were all equally shocked as Veronica.

BLAKE REJECTED VERONICA IRIS WHITE!!!

Where’s the camera when you needed it? This was definitely something alright. Throughout my whole high school life, not one guy has ever rejected the queen bee/she devil of East Shore High.

Blake would be the first guy to do so and I’m pretty sure that Veronica isn’t happy about this at all. But was I happy? Hell yeah! I don’t really know why I was happy about this. Was it the fact that my most hated person was publicly humiliated? Or was it the fact that maybe, just maybe, Blake didn’t want girls as fake as Veronica and maybe he would go for girls like me?

The second one would highly be unlikely. If Blake didn’t want Veronica, why would he want me instead? Veronica was ‘fine-looking and hot’ according to the guys around campus. And me? I was just plain old Tammy. I know I didn’t stand a chance.

But as for now, having seen the sight I just witnessed a while ago was just priceless. Veronica being rejected by Blake was just incomparable. Nonetheless, I felt extremely happy, walking and skipping towards Danny’s car. Driving off the road with a huge grin plastered across my face.

END OF FLASHBACK

“Tam, are you okay? Why do you seem so happy?” Zoey asked curiously.

“Nothing.” I replied whilst smiling innocently.

“It’s about Blake isn’t it?” She asked me knowingly.

I just nodded. Damn. Am I that predictable?

“Ha! I knew it.” She grinned victoriously. “Did he ask you out on a date?”

“WHAT? No!” I quickly replied with wide eyes.

She just shrugged and said “Well, what is it then?”

“I saw Blake talking to Veronica a while ago at the bleachers…”

“And?” Zoey asked cutting me off.

“Chill out! I wasn’t even done yet!” I replied. She just shrugged so I continued. “Well, I didn’t really hear much but I saw Veronica flirting and asking Blake something, then Blake stood up, shaking his head and walked out. He left Veronica there shocked out of her mind! I think he rejected her.”

“OMG! Seriously? No guy has ever rejected that evil witch!” Zoey said in an amused tone.

“I would’ve rejected Veronica too if I was Blake.” Danny said walking towards us, bringing our food and joining our conversation. We were currently on our favourite diner.

“Well, you’re different. And we all know that Veronica isn’t your type. Right Tammy?” Zoey countered whilst giving me strange looks.

“Yeah, who is your type anyway D? Do you like someone?” I asked Danny. I was really curious who the girl he liked was. I have never heard Danny liking someone ever since.

Danny just blushed and said “No one you know, T. No one you know.”
