Well hello there. Yes, yes I know. It's been awhile.

I'm lying. It's been ages!! And I'm sorry, life and work has been hectic. But hopefully, with school ending and stuff, I will have more time to update. That's if I'm not lazy. Cause Diana here is one lazy human being.

Anyways.. This chapter is based on a scene from chapter 36. Which if you don't remember, I don't blame you (I hardly remembered myself), it's when Cole is leaving from thanksgiving dinner at Yvette's house, and they're talking on her porch. I'm a horrible explainer, it's better if you just re-read the last parts of the chapter. And yeah..
And like always, ENJOY!
Love Di.

Oh and ps: there's a slight plot twist at the end. Idk what I'm doing anymore lmao. But I hope it's interesting for you guys.

Flashback to chapter 36
Cole's pov:

"I'll leave it to your imagination." I tease getting up from the bench. "Anyways that was all I had to say, I'll call you, Happy Thanksgiving Yvette." I glance back at her to see her staring at her feet. I snicker at her reaction and get into my car.

At first I sit there in silence, thinking, Was confessing to her the right thing? Did I make the right choice?
I shake my head erasing those thoughts from my head.

I turn the engine on and drive off. I breathe out a sigh of relief at the thought of having the house all to myself. Thea texted me an hour ago that everyone left to Aunt Tara's house or some shit.

I turn the string wheel towards my garage and park my car. I lock it and start up my steps. And at that moment my phone rings in my hand. I look down at the screen and see the name I did not expect to ever show up on my phone.

"What?" I answer

"Well that's rude, most people call me by my name." The voice responds flabbergasted.

"What do you want Ashley?" I growl unlocking my front door while have the phone pressed up against my right ear and shoulder.

"Easy there tiger, I just wanted to call to wish you a happy thanksgiving." She says her voice trailing off.

I'm silent for a moment, debating whether I should hang up on her or not.

She laughs to herself, "I'm such a liar. I called you to offer you a deal... Sort of what you and Yvette got going on."

I furrow my eyebrows. "What are you talking about?"

"Oh please, no need to keep up with the facade. I know." She clears her throat. "In fact I've known for a while now."

That's a lie, she couldn't have possibly known.

"Oh yeah? How could you possibly assume something like that, you know what? I'm going to hang up no-."

"I've known Cole." She snaps

" Then what is it that you want, I'm sure you didn't call just to tell me that." I say setting my things down on my desk.

"I want you to date me, and drop Yvette-"

"I'm not doing that, goodbye Ashley." I roll my eyes aiming for the red button on my screen.

"If you don't do this, I will ruin her." She spits out.

"I'm not going to let you hurt her, so you might as well quit now."

"Oh it's not me that will hurt her. What if it's the whole school? What will you do then?" She questions. I could almost hear the smirk forming on her face.

"Ashley I swear if you lay one finger on her I-" I could feel the rage rising up at the pit of my stomach. I look down, realizing that my fist were clinched, I sigh and open them up.

"You'll what Cole, hurt me? Bully me? You can't, your reputation and my reputation at school are completely different. You're the bad rude boy that looks down at people and I am the smart, student body president that everyone trusts and loves." She clears her throat. "Which is why you do as I say, or I will turn on Yvette and make her life miserable. As well as your own. You know I can."

"What will you earn from all this? I'm not going to be your puppet who you can control at any time. So you can just go fuck yourself. " I quickly hang up before she starts again.

I drop at the edge of my bed and set my phone next to me. I was surprised she didn't call back. As I'm in the middle of taking my shoes off my phone beeps indicating I had a message. I look down to see a picture message from Ashley. I shake my head, not bothering to even open it.

My phone beeps again. And again. And again. I huff and left up my phone, i unlock my screen saver and open the message.

It was a picture of Yvette and Oliver at the movies, it was dark but you could still see their shadows. They were leaning towards each other, it looked like they were kissing. This meant nothing, I was there when this went on.

I swipe to reveal the second photo. And it was a picture of Yvette and I kissing on the balcony of Nina's party. Nina? Nicole? Whatever, her. I look down at her response. Seems to me that these pictures say a lot about her. You don't want this spreading now don't you?

I huff out in annoyance and quickly type back. Go ahead, this will only reveal that you're a jealous immature bitch.

She responds with a second picture. This will definitely change your mind then.

I freeze and feel my stomach drop as my face grew pale and heart started racing. How did she get this? I breathe uneasily as I stare at my phone. This was my file, the file that almost ruined my life. It read;
