Chapter 18

Sebastian couldn’t believe he was back in England.

His place of birth, the place where he was raised, the place where the people he once called his family currently resided.

The air felt thicker than it did back then, the surrounding were so different than that of the Caribbean. He had gotten so used to the fresh air and wind of the Caribbean that always carried a hint of salt with it. He even already missed being off of the boat, on shore and out there in the vast ocean, where adventure, danger as well as peace came along.

Michael and he had just arrived at the harbors of England, and he already wished with all his being to return.

As Sebastian got off the ship and watched his Captain and best friend Michael, as he ordered the people around. Sebastian felt a sense of nostalgia of the things he had had while he was here. Back then things had been okay to a certain point. He decided that he had only come to accompany Michael so that once Michael was done doing whatever he come to do he would get right back on that same boat he came on and sail back to the Caribbean where he belonged. After so long of being a pirate and away from England; society was a nuisance to him now. He could care less what they thought of him with his long hair and ‘inappropriate’ attire.

He hoped that coming back would not prove to be a mistake in the long run. He had run from this place because of an ill-fated life that his destined to live. He left this very place to be happy and live his life in whatever why he wanted. He left to seek freedom and adventure and he had love every second on the time he was away from England. It was a like a gift and a second opportunity in life that he was getting, a chance to live his life with his own rules and listening to on one.

Being pirate offered that and much more. When he met Michael he was lost and forlorn. Michael had been in a way his savior, guide, friend, and his only family. Michael and he had come a long way together and especially for that reason he had decided to come and help Michael in whatever he needed. His friend had never said anything good about this place so that was why he knew that he had to come.

“Well it hasn’t changed much since the last time I was here,” Michael said once he reached him.

“No, it hasn’t,” Sebastian said looking around.

The people just carried on with their business, ignoring the strangers and greeting the familiar faces. The fashions change but the

People seldom do.

“I am sorry to tell you but I might be here for about a month, maybe more,” Michael said looking at Sebastian.

“What!?” he said taken aback, “why−why for that long?”

“There some things I want to do while here. Important things, after I’m done, I am certain that it’ll be a very long time before I ever step foot on England ground again.”
