Lenny's POV: (A few days later during lunch in school)-

I smiled and watched Eliza throw back her head and laugh. I want to hear her laugh more than I have ever wanted anything. She is the most beautiful girl I have ever met. Her laugh probably sounds like music. Eliza has a smile that will make you smile. Any time she laughs I want to laugh along with her.
She keeps giggling and signs "No, you are joking right?"
"Yes! She actually dumped the milkshake on my head, thinking I was her boyfriend. I went out for a normal burger and came back home with a face full of dairy."
"Did she apologize?"
"Yes, and she tried to pay for my food but I felt bad because apparently her boyfriend cheated on her. I just left pretty fast."
Eliza started to sign something but the sound of the bell cut her off. She grabbed her bag and got up from her seat. She waved as she ran after her best friend, Melody. I like Melody but her and Eliza have recently been growing apart and she won't tell me why. I will have to text her later about that.
I got up from the bench and headed towards my car. My mom is okay with me sometimes missing home ec. class because I don't like it and the teacher talks to fast. It's to hard to read her lips. I open my car door and get it.
If I tell Eliza how I feel about her, I think to myself as I start driving, she might not feel the same way and then it will be awkward. But if I don't do it I might regret it. I pulled out the the school parking lot and head towards a main street. I pull up to a stop light and I feel vibration in my pocket. I get my phone out of my front pocket and look at the text. It's from Eliza and it says "Had fun!! I'll talk to you later. xo" I smile and think about how lucky I am to have met Eliza. I look up and the light has turned green and I start to drive and unlock my phone to text back. I start to type back "I can't wait to talk to you:)" When suddenly my world went black.
