Prologue
Elisabeth's P.O.V
I sighed as I flopped down on my bed in my almost empty bedroom. I picked up my phone to see if I can call Sarah.
"Hey Sarah what's up?
"Oh nothin much, I'm just playing hide and seek with Billy, and he hasn't found me yet, although I am hiding in my closet so I thought he would have found me already...."
"Uuuhhh hello, Sarah?
"OMG BILLY WHAT THE HELL, I WAS HIDING IN MY CLOSET FOR AN HOUR AND I COME OUT TO FIND YOU PLAYING X-BOX. WHAT THE HELL!!!!!!!"
I heard Sarah screaming at her little brother through the cell-phone.

"Hey, sorry about that it's just sometimes Billy really pushes me too far".
"It's okay Sarah, I could hear the entire conversation from my side of the phone".
I'm really gonna miss my best friend, she's the only person who understands me.
"Lizzy come eat dinner".
"Kay mom I'm coming".
"Bye Sarah I'll text you after I finish dinner".
"Okay bye Lizz".
I hung up the phone and went downstairs, I wasn't hungry but I had to eat dinner anyways.
"Hey dad how was work".
I asked my dad as he walked through the front door .
"Very tiring, but at least I am home with my to favorite women in the world".
"Now let's eat".

Lizzy: Hey Sarah what's up?
Sazzy: nothin much just chillin and watchin netflix.
Lizzy: lucky, I still have to do homework from Mr Olson's class,I swear, when he got to algebra I was falling asleep.
Sazzy: haha lol I finished my work as soon as you dropped me home.
Lizzy: aaaaand, DONE with homework finally.
Sazzy: hey since its Friday I was wondering if you wanted to come for a sleep over because my mom has to leave for Miami early tomorrow and dad is going with her.
Lizzy: what about Billy?
Sazzy: he's going to a friend's house for the weekend, so I'll have the whole house to myself.
Lizzy: sure I'll just pack my bags and I'll tell my mom I'm going to stay with you for the weekend.
"Hey mom is it okay if I go and stay at Sarah's place for the weekend because her parents are going to Miami early in the morning and also I want to spend as much time with her as I can before we leave".
"Sure honey, just come back here straight after school on Monday
"Okay mom I'll just go pack my bags and then I'm off to Sarahs place".

"Bye mom I'll see you on Monday afternoon".
"Bye honey, I love you".
"Love you too mom now bye".

( ding dong)
"Hey Lizzy, come in and chuck your stuff in my room then come back downstairs so we can watch movies".
"Gosh, your starting to sound like my mom but I'll listen to you anyway".
After a few hours of watching movies and snacking on popcorn and crisps, we got tired so we went upstairs, changed into our pj's and fell asleep as soon as our heads touched the pillows.

Monday afternoon after school
I drove around the corner and saw that there was a moving van outside the house, I parked my Mercedes-Benz in the driveway and asked my mom what was happening.
"Mom what's going on here?"
"I'm sorry honey, but the agents called and said that we have to move today because the house in Greenside has an expiry date to move in which was moved to tomorrow.
"WHAT, you said the expiry date for moving in only expired in a month". I said with my voice going croaky.
"I know baby but as I told you it was moved, the workers already moved everything into the van, so now we just need to grab our remaining things and hit the road".
"It's not fair, can I at least drive over to Sarahs house to say good bye?"
"Sure thing honey but be back in 40 minutes".
"I will mom".
I quickly jumped into my Merc and drove to Sarahs place.
Ding dong ding dong ding dong.
I pressed the doorbell rapidly and the door was flung open by Billy, I told him I needed to talk to Sarah quickly.
He let me in and I ran upstairs to Sarahs room.
"Sarah, my mom just told me that we had to move today and that we are leaving really soon".
"Oh no but I thought you told me expiry date only expired in a month".
"I did tell you that except when I got home after dropping you off I saw a moving van and asked my mom what was happening when she told me the expiry date moved to tomorrow". I said with tears falling down my face
Sarah sighed and stood up and went to her closet to get something.
She came back with a purple velvet box in her hands.
"I was keeping this for the day that you left and well since today is that day, I wanted to give this to you".
And then she opened the little box and inside was a diamond heart necklace that when Sarah picked it up it broke in two with the words 'best' and 'friends'.
She put the necklace around my neck and I did the same to her.
We said goodbye and promised each other that we would video chat every single day.
When I got home I quickly packed my stuff and hit the road.
