The Mansion

Elisabeth's P.O.V

I parked my car and walked up to front door.

Before I could even knock on the door, it opened extremely slowly and all of a sudden a man in a ghost costume jumped out and tried to scare me but he wasn't even close to scaring me.

Now I know what you're thinking, how come Minaya can scare you by jumping at your window and yet this ghost dude can even make you flinch, well I love paranormal activity and ghosts so I'm not really scared by that stuff.

"Welcome ma'am I suppose you are here for the tour of the mansion?" said ghost guy.

"Yes, my name is Elizabeth

"Well Elizabeth, my name is Edward and if you could please wait in the living room for the other people to arrive it would be much appreciated."

"Thank you Edward I'll just show myself to the living room and you just wait here for the others."

"Okay, just go straight down the passage, turn left past the kitchen, go upstairs and turn right then you will be in the living room."

I got lost as soon as I got upstairs.

I tried calling for help but no one came, when I turned a corner I saw something move in the shadow.

"Hello... anybody there?"

Swish

(In whispers)"psssstt, over here."

It's sounded like a males voice, so went towards it.

"It's okay just come here." The voice said.

I looked and saw a male standing in the corner of a room.

"Who are you?"

"I'm Calvin and I'm 18 years old and you?"

"I'm Elizabeth and I'm also 18."

"Why aren't you waiting in the living room like all the other people?"I said.

"Well because I live here."

"Wait, if you say you live here then why are people organising tours of your mansion?"

"Okay please don't freak out if I tell you that I'm a ghost."

"Oh my gosh, are you serious." I said

"Well if I was lying then I wouldn't be able to do this."

Then he raised his hand towards my face and gently stroked it, I could feel the coldness radiating off his hand and his body started shimmering.

I gasped in shock.

"I thought ghosts weren't able to touch people."

"Well then you thought wrong, ghosts can touch people they just don't like to do it that much."

"Wait if you can see me then that means you can see ghosts." Calvin said with a gasp.

"I don't know, I just thought they were normal people."

Gasp

"That explains what happened in the school halls today." I said shocked.

"What happened?" Asked Calvin.

"Okay, I was walking with my new friend when I saw some kids looking sad, so I smiled and waved to them. They were shocked at first but then they waved back. When my new friend Minaya asked who I was waving and smiling at, I told her that it was those people over there and she said what people so I just decided not to get mad on my first day and just carried on walking."

"Yep, that explains it, you can see ghosts alright, what's wrong?"

"It's just so cool that I can see ghosts." I said

I looked up to his eyes and saw that they were a dark purple colour, they were amazing, even though my eyes are only a mix between emerald green and sapphire blue, they were no match to his.

"So Calvin, have you ever gone out to the town or something ever since you like um died?"

"I have gone out once or twice but I don't usually do, why do you ask?"

"Well since you're my newly found friend, it is my duty to help you get out more." I said in a duh tone.

"What do you mean?" asked Calvin.

"I mean that we are going to ditch this old mansion and go to town."

"Well, if you insist." Calvin said.

We got downstairs and Edward asked me were I was going and I just said that my mom called and wanted me back home.
