Elizabeth's P.O.V
After the little session with dad earlier on, I told dad what I had found when I was in the forest but I didn't tell him about what happened with Calvin and Tori.
But first I told him everything that had happened from since we moved to here till now.
I quickly fed the puppies and we started walking.
So now we are walking to the back of my house, into the forest and to the waterfall.
We followed the pathway and came to the rock that I marked with mud. We rounded the corner and there was the waterfall in all its glory.
I took off my shoes and dove into the pool.
I resurfaced, pulled down the yellow lever and the waterfall split, this time it made a small walkway over the pond and the others walked over to me.
Minaya was about to say something, until I stopped her.
I pulled the green lever and the same kind of tunnel appeared.
Before I walked in, Calvin stopped me.
"Elizabeth, it's pretty dark in there, make it bright." He said.
"How?" I asked.
"This might burn, but at least we have water near us.
"Put one hand out, palm facing up."
I did that.
"Look up at the roof of the cave."
I looked at the roof.
"Focus." He said.
"Don't speak just focus on creating a flame in your hand."
I focused hard.
Suddenly I felt a burning feeling in my hand.
My hand was burning painfully, I couldn't bear it anymore.
"Aaahhh." I screamed and dug my hand into the water of the pool behind us. There was a sizzling sound as my hand touched the water.
I turned around and everyone was looking at me.
"I'm fine let's just try again."
So I tried two more times with the same reaction and I decided to try one more time.
I put my hand out and focused really hard and I suddenly felt the fire on my hand.
This time I didn't feel any pain but I walked to the tunnel and it brightened up immediately.
We walked down the tunnel and made a few turns.
We came to a door, a big metal door.
I looked back at the others and they nodded, so I pushed the door. It took a few minutes, obviously the door hadn't been open for a really long time for there was cobwebs, grime and dust forming around the edges of the doors until I finally managed to open the door.
We all crowded into a small room, it was empty except for a closet on the left side of the room and a wall length bookcase on the other side and there was an old torch lying in the corner so I lit it up so I didn't need to use my hand for light anymore.
I walked to the closet and tried opening it but it was locked.
I looked around and walked to the bookcase, there were only two objects there, a small ring box and a key!
I picked up the key, walked to the closet, stuck the key into the door and turned it. It clicked.
Excitedly, I slowly opened the closet doors and something fell onto me.
