Spying On A Demon

Elisabeth's P.O.V

We walked out the house and across the street and I saw Caleb walking into an empty house with big boxes.

"Let's go round to the window." I said.

"Okay but first I need you to hold my hand." Calvin said.

"Why, is little Calvin scared?" I said playfully.

"No, but unless you want to be seen by a demon looking in at his window then be my guest." Calvin said.

"Oh, and how are you going to that?" I asked.

"Well if you grab my hand I will make us invisible." Calvin stated.

So I grabbed his hand and almost immediately I put my left hand in front of my face and I couldn't even see it.

"How cool is that eh."

"It's awesome." I said.

I felt a slight tingling when we joined hands.

"Now you can look through the window. Calvin said.

We looked in through the window and saw Caleb standing in front of a lamp, with his shadow growing bigger ever time he chanted words over and over. Then after one more minute of spying, Calvin and I saw Caleb's shadow become alive and stand next to him. Caleb gave the shadow a few orders and immediately the shadow disappeared into a full length mirror on the wall.

Caleb walked towards the window we were looking through and obviously not seeing us, said to himself "she will be mine, no matter what I will have her."

After he said that, he immediately closed the shutters.

I let go of Calvin's hand and walked slowly towards my house.

By now it was already dark and the streetlights turned on.

I walked through the front door and told my mom that I was home.

"Lizzy, dinner is going to be ready in half an hour okay?" My mom said.

"Okay mom." I replied.

I walked upstairs and flopped onto my bed, picked up my laptop and opened my VideoChat.

Sarah was online so I asked her if we can chat.

She immediately said yes and her face popped up on my screen.

"Hey Sarah, what you doing?"

"Well other than talking to you, I'm just laying on my bed with fluffy."

"Aaawww, I miss that cute little fluff ball."

"Anyways what did you do today, like um how's your new school and all that stuff."

"Okay, I got to school and saw two kids fighting so I pinched the little bone in their elbows, I used that trick we learnt in those self-defense classes. Anyway, they fell limp and everyone was asking if they were dead and I said no."

"I walked into the gates which looked more like prison gates and as soon as I got my schedule, a girl whose name is Minaya said that we are going to be great friends."

"And after school I went to this creepy old mansion because some group of geeks are having tours of it..."

"Haha, you would go to a creepy place like that, anyway as you were saying."
