Filler Before The Battle

Elizabeth's P.O.V

A week has passed since Calvin woke up and I have gotten pretty stressed out lately.

For the past week, Minaya and I have been training in fusion form and we are all ready for when the time comes to fight.

The have been a few days were we would fight with Crash, separated and not.

Even though we have completely finished our training, we still train as hard we ever did.

So right now we're walking to the training ground and I'm talking to myself reviewing all that's happened since Tori came for a quick visit.

"Fighting positions!" Brady yelled.

"You ready Brady?" I asked.

Brady suggested that we swop partners for the day and let me tell you that Calvin was not happy at that idea. Brady wanted to see how I was doing fighting wise.

He nodded his head and shouted, "Go!"

I immediately dove into battle and attacked Brady with a closed fist to the throat.

He choked for breath and grabbed his throat on instinct.

I smiled in triumph and pulled his head towards my knee and tripped him with my legs that made him tumble to the ground.

He shot up like a bullet and grabbed my arms, swinging me over his head and I slid against the dirt and stones in the ground.

Now Brady walked to me and I did one of those cool swing-your-leg-on-the-ground- while-hitting-your-oppents'-legs-to-make-him-fall-down kind of things.

As soon as Brady fell down, I picked him up by his torso and punched him in the gut while throwing him in the air and going through with the punch.

I pulled Brady up and off the ground and then his Krin started attacking Minaya and I.

I ran to Minaya and pulled our fists together. The pain has become faint, now it feels like a pinprick on your thumb, barely noticable.

In mere seconds, we were fused and were fighting off the Krin left and right.

"You need to control that anger of yours Lizzy, its' going to get you nowhere." Minaya said curtly.

I took a deep breath as Minaya directed my brain to send a punch to a Krins' stomach and he doubled down while Minaya directed an uppercut to his face.

# # # # # # # # # #

Flopping on my bed, I lay next to Calvin and held his face in my palms.

"I love you." I whispered.

"I love you even more." He whispered back.

I kissed his lips gently and he caressed my sides.

An evil laugh broke through the air as blue and red lightning flashed outside.

"Time's up dear Elizabeth." I heard before a whoosh wisked me away to a different realm.

But then a familiar feeling of knives being pulled down my back came as the laughter continued.

I am so sorry that it's so short but at least it's a double chappie update eh?

I am so glad, exams are finished and I will here on out finish this book!
