I walked through the front gates of Greenside High School, to be honest, it was kinda scary.
The big wrought iron gates looked more like prison gates than high school gates

I went to the secretary to get my schedule,the lady at the desk smiled and handed me my schedule.

Ok I have 5 lessons a day

1: home economics C22
2: algebra E53
3:AP English D12
4:Phys Ed L89
5:art&culture G5

I started walking towards my first class when suddenly I was stopped by a tall red-haired girl screaming my name.

"OMG, you must be Elizabeth, I'm Minaya and I think we're gonna be best friends."

When Minaya said the word 'best' I immediately touched the necklace on my neck, it was the necklace that Sarah gave me before I left.

"Yeeeaahh, me too."I said

"Anyways, can I see your schedule, I wanna see what classes we have together." Minaya said.

I handed her my schedule and after a few minutes she screamed and said,
"Your in all of my classes."

I think I'm going to grow attached to this girl.

"Let's walk to home economics together."

We started walking and I saw a few students looking sad, so I waved and smiled at them and they looked up with shocked expressions on their faces yet they waved and smiled back.

"Who are you waving and smiling at?" Minaya said

"Those kids over there."

"What kids, I don't see any kids?"

"Never mind, let's just get to class."

Before I knew it three lessons were over and it was lunch time.

I walked into the cafeteria and all eyes were on me, I just ignored them and walked towards the place where the food was and grabbed an apple, tuna sandwich and an orange juice.

I guess being the new girl has its consequences.

I finished my lunch as soon as the bell rang and threw away my rubbish.

I started walking to the girls locker rooms to change for PE.

When PE finished, I changed in record time and rushed to arts and culture, my last lesson of the day and then I'll be going to the mansion for the tour.

I jumped into my car and started the engine, I was about to clip my seat belt in when Minaya jumped at me through the window.

"BOO!!!!"

"AAAHHHHH" I screamed.

"Don't do that Minaya,you almost gave me a heart attack."

"Hahahaha, you should have seen your face it was priceless, anyway I wanted to ask if you wanted to hang out this afternoon."

"Sorry Minaya I have to go unpack, maybe we can hang out tomorrow after school."

"Sounds great, I guess I'll see you tomorrow, bye."

"Bye Minaya enjoy your evening."

"You too Lizzy, bye now."
