Meanwhile in another place, a dark and mysterious place, a small band of hedgies dart through alleyways. They carry loads of stolen goods. As they run, they fail to notice a sleek figure following them. He smirked as he lifted a finger. The crooks were frozen in place, surrounded by an aquamarine aura. The young male leaped off a building, showing himself to the bandits. He was a tall, thin silver hedgehog with fluffy white chest fur, pot leaf shaped quills on the top of his head. His eyes were a flaming gold color, burning with his sense of justice. This boy's name, is ironically, Silver.
"It's no use." Silver grinned. "Bah!" Growled the leader. Silver loved using his catchphrase. Literally. He would catch them while saying his catchphrase. He was like the hero of this dark place, but he was just as bad. He had to steal to live. He had been abandoned by his parents for all he knew his father was of a different blood. I sure hope he's a Blue Blood! That would be way past cool! He had thought.
But here he was now, holding the bad guys while the police, or as he liked to call them, the po po arrive. He was the only Silver Blood with this power. He felt unique, strong, and alone. Everyone feared him, even those who cheer him on. Even the police who he helps each day. It was late now; a perfect time to steal.
Silver silently crept around a corner. He hated doing this. He really loved helping the public. Now he's stealing from it. He sighs. Why did I have to be in this...this dump of thieves...? He wonders. Silver pushes the thought aside. Oh well. I can't change this. No matter how much I want to... He snuck around to an empty shop and teleported inside.
"Bingo." He whispers as he grabs some food and appliances. He snatches a bottle of water and walks to the cashier desk and lays some money down. He wasn't completely heartless. Silver teleports out to his "house". He didn't except to see a familiar gem thieving bat waiting. "Hey Silvy~." She coos in her regular seductive voice. It luckily doesn't work on Silver. "What do you want, Rouge?" Silver grumbled.
Rouge chuckled. "Can I stay overnight?" She asked. Silver nodded slowly. "Sure..." He said cautiously. She smiled thankfully. "Thanks Silv." She replied, walking inside. "Great. Just great." Silver said sarcastically. After a minute, he followed his friend inside. Later that night, Silver had a strange dream. He saw a strange, unfamiliar figure beginning to appear from the light.
"Silver..." She spoke. "Wha?! Who are you, and what do you want?!" Silver demanded. The figure finally appeared fully. She was a pale yellow color with bright blue eyes, and blue clothing. She was smiling. "Oh, Silver! Look at how much you've grown!" She exclaimed, walking over to him. She gently stroked his cheek, ignoring his questions. "Who are you?" He asked again, more slowly. "Oh, I'm sorry. I should have known that you'd never recognize me." She smiles as sweetly as honey.
"Silver, I'm Maria, your mother."
