Hello! It's almost been two weeks of school here! I decided to pump this one out a day early, mostly because my new schedule is hectic and I don't have enough time in my writing class to write this. So, here it is from the middle of my other classes!

???'s PoV:

The gentle murmur of the wind through leaves was enough to stir me from my slumber. I don't remember why I was sleeping, or why I was in a forest, but dappled light gave me the impression of trees. The bright, illuminated green of sunlit leaves filled my vision as my eyes flickered open.

It was mostly quiet, though the distant song of birds and hum of wind filled my ears. It was familiar. But.. how?

The area around me seemed full of life. Sitting up, I spooked a family of sparrows, and caused a crow to caw in alarm. I know I'm special; the voice in my dreams told me so. But again.. how? I don't even know my own name.

Pushing myself to my feet was a trick, as my knees wanted to buckle under my weight. I managed standing only by using the tree I was under for support. There was so much green around me it made the deep mahogany of the trunk stand out almost as much as my silver body. It felt.. suffocating.

I spotted the striped head of a chipmunk peering over a branch to watch me, its cheeks puffy with stored food. It appeared to be laughing at me. "What?" I ask, jumping at my own voice. That's what I sound like? Strange.

I sound strange.
