Yaaaaay, more filler!!

Sorry this chapter is so dreadfully late. We got caught up in some things, and I almost lost my best friend to family services. I won't explain too much, as I don't think she'd want me to tell, but she's mah foster sister now! Updates should be steady, but I probably won't add another chapter next Wednesday because that's the first day of school here. I'm also gonna have to make some OCs for the next REAL chapter, so that one might be extra postponed. Just wanted to let you know that I'm really, really, REALLY sorry about not updating all summer.

The hedgehog shown to Mephiles was odd. He seemed lost and confused, and he spoke words to plants were unknown to him. The warrior narrowed his eyes, trying to study the hedgehog before his eyes.

The orb's cloudy sheen made it difficult to pinpoint exact details, so even his fur and quill color seemed off. Bright, sky blue eyes sliced through the mist, nearly blinding Mephiles. This. He thought maliciously. This is the threat; our doom. He clutched the orb, entering his tent. The vision in the sphere faded as he did so, leaving Mephiles alone with his thoughts. The vague outline of the threat still lingered in his mind, swirling tauntingly in his brain. "Shadow." He snarled softly.

"That's your grand plan, huh? Well, not if I destroy him first."
