He found him dead and drained out of blood. His beautiful skin was very pale, his eyes were open and red from crying, and his heart is empty yet angry.

He burried him, and the rain poured. But before he could make a small step away, he dug him out and gave him his blood. The small drop of blood is enough to bring him back to life.

"You're a cute one, aren't you?"

Park Jimin was baffled. He knows the voice too well to be mistaken.

"J-Jeon Jeongguk," he calls out, but the nails on his neck just dug deeper.

"How'd you know my name?" Jeongguk reads his emotion, and he feels Jimin's anger for him. "An enemy, huh? That's such a shame."

Jimin elbowed the other and backed off a little. "It's so nice to see you again, Jeongguk," he says, and a wide grin has been plastered on his face for just a second.

"And you are?"

"Do you really not..." Jimin scoots closer and bent down to whisper on the other's ear, "remember me?"

"Why would I ask, dear?" Jeongguk says, a finger grazing its nail on Jimin's neck. And Jimin finds this interesting. This side of Jeongguk is indeed so interesting.

"Find out yourself," Jimin says and left off. He went back home in a swift. "He's a vampire now, huh?"

Jimin should've told the others, but he kept it all to himself. He doesn't want them to know and have Jeongguk around them anymore. He knows they soon will find out but he will try to keep it a secret as long as possible.

Everything will go fine as long as they don't cross paths with the boy, but what he doesn't know is that Jeongguk has followed him that night. And days after that, the boy barged inside their place, keeping himself as unnoticeable as possible.

Jeongguk sat on the sleeping vampire's bed, softly stroking his hair. And Jimin sat upright at the touch.

"What the fuck are you doing here?"

"Is that how you should greet me?"

"Well yeah, since I don't know who you are."

"You know my name. I just wanna know yours," Jeongguk says, and Jimin gripped his neck tightly, making Jeongguk wince but he did not do a thing.

"Get the fuck out of here," Jimin growls, but Jeongguk just laughs.

"I like you when you're angry," Jeongguk teases, and Jimin sent him flying to the wall. Jimin went over him and gripped his hair, forcefully making him look at him.

"It's your fucking fault my friends tried to kill each other. And if it wasn't for you..."

Jeongguk is confused. Because how will it be his fault? All he remembers is him held captive by Sungjae. Sungjae is all he actually knows.

"It's not my fault if they want to. But mind explaining why?"

Jimin loosens his grip and he shouts in frustration. His breathing feels heavy. He remembers all the moments shared with his friends and with Jeongguk, mostly were unforgettable and beautiful. He missed the boy, but he hates him.

"Why are you sad?"

"It doesn't concern you."

"I think it does. I feel something. I don't know what it is, but... it feels nice."

What Jeongguk felt from Jimin is the reason why he wants to know more and why he followed him. He wants to feel it again.

A night that people have always feared of has come again. Screams are deafening and cries are everywhere. Adults and children are running here and there, trying to escape a being who seemed to have been fuelled in anger.

That being has seen a trail of red, following it to witness a human fully covered in its own blood. People thought it was the vampire's doing, and so they threw cans and stones that angered it. They shouldn't have.

V has killed 3 men, all of them being stepped on by him. And he is craving for more. There are other vampires surrounding him, almost couldn't stand all the blood scattered around, but they tried their best not to fall for the lovely scent.

They fight him, but V's strength is really something.

"Is this your friend?"

All gazes turn to the side, finding a known figure who asked the question towards Jimin. A face of shock could be seen from all, mostly from the red-haired vampire who is at loss of words.

"Do know about this, Park Jimin?" V charges towards him, punching him at the gut. "Why must you hide him from us?" he asks as he strangles the older.

Then they hear series of claps, and Jeongguk steps towards the two. "Park Jimin," the raven-haired vampire calls, then whistles. "Told you so. If they want a fight, they fight. Friend or not. That's just how it is. It's called betrayal, dear."

V's grip on Jimin's neck loosens as he listens and stares at Jeongguk's red eyes. Jeongguk looks away, as the eyes that stared through his seems somewhat familiar that he sees himself with an innocent smile. But that was just a picture in his mind, because what he really saw is someone that he himself does not know. He doesn't know himself.

"You are no different from those who killed me," Jeongguk says, and he attacks V, kneeing his stomach. V gasps out in pain. The small contact made him weak, and the scary mask he's been wearing all this time falls off. His tense and strong muscles turned completely soft and weak as Jeongguk give hard blows on his face.

V just lets him. He missed his touch.

Jeongguk stops as he realize how many punches he has given already but no one tried to stop him, even the boy underneath him who now has tears running down his scarred face.

"Does that hurt too much?" Jeongguk asks, his lips twitching.

"Yes, goddamn it hurts so much," V answers, and Jeongguk laughs sarcastically, "To be easily forgotten by you, Jeon Jeongguk. Don't you think that's betraying me?"
