"I shouldn't have left him. I shouldn't have left him. I shouldn't have left him," is what keeps coming out of the orange-haired vampire, alone or not. He has fully recovered and so have the others, but they do not know where to find Jeongguk no more. All the best efforts had been exerted but no boy was found.

So they assumed him dead. Well, he is dead.

Gathered inside a room, all that could be heard is the continuous growls and sobs and scratchings coming only from one of them. He looks as if not sane, but he is. His mind is just preoccupied by Jeongguk: cold, lifeless, broken, hurt, and burried. He died without a fight. He died feeling betrayed by his only friend. He died because of him.

All he blames is himself. Jeongguk's life can't be turned back to the basics the time they met. He wishes to. So he lets him go. Even though he's hurting, he lets him go. But the cruel world seemed to have followed Jeongguk.

V stood up abruptly which made the others flinch and stare at him as steps were made towards the window.

"Where are you going?"

"You don't have to care."

2 vampires followed as V jumped off the window, letting out his wings just as he was about to hit the ground then flying up so high, letting his frustrations out.

He screams, in hopes of Jeongguk to hear his voice and scream his name back. His wings flap freely and beautifully but then abruptly came to a stop. And again, he lets himself fall down but two arms caught him. Shoving those off, he flies again, even higher, but then again, same arms caught him.

"Just fucking leave me alone, will you?"

He looks at Hoseok, with dark eyes angry but crystallines are seen as the moonlight shines on their faces.

"We can't afford to lose another friend. We can't afford to lose you too, V."

"I won't die from falling."

"I know, but seeing you do this feels like we aren't here for you. We feel like he's more important than all of us. Like you'd rather follow him than be with us whom you've known longer."

Jimin came in between as he notices the tension between the two. Oh, boy.

"You do know I love him, right, Hoseok? So what are you trying to say?!"

"I'm trying to say that I've loved you longer too."

"H-Hoseok hyung, stop," Jimin mumbles out as he sent the others a signal.

"Is this where we are going now? I expected more wise words from you for his death rather than you trying to confess to me."

"You don't know how much I've stopped myself from attacking him just so I can have you myself."

And a fire was lightened which exploded as if immersed in gasoline. In just a flicker, one of them was sent to the ground. With eyes that could bore holes, V attacked Hoseok with his undeniably sharp nails, aiming for his heart. But then Hoseok raised his legs which then meets V's face. The others soon stopped them but only got involved into the fight.

Jimin, being the most vulnerable one, cries at the sight. He isn't at all pleased at his friends trying to kill each other. So he flew away, deciding to go back before sunrise. To him, it seems like their friendship is being broken down by just one particular person. And he's starting to hate him. He's starting to hate Jeongguk. He may sound selfish, but he just wants their circle to stay as that. He wants to erase the boy in the picture.

He wandered at the woods, hearing screams of pain and howls of wolves and the sound of leaves being swayed by the cool wind.

His steps became slower and slower, aware at the fact that he is being followed. Turning around, he only found a bunny.

"Ah, such a cute bunny. How are you, little one?"

He kneels down, but before he could fully do so, long, sharp nails sliced his neck lightly. But he isn't anywhere near afraid.

"You're a cute one, aren't you," says the stranger.

-

"I taught you well. Never kill an innocent."

"Yes, Sungjae."

"Go wherever you please. You're free now."
