I've always wondered why I have to live alone through the dark. Why for all the reasons I should be the one trying to find what I've forgotten, and not have someone to make me remember. I've always wondered if there was ever left behind for me.

But not until he came into my life, for the second time.

He was always ignoring me, but it's something I couldn't disregard. Until I get attached to him from being too bothered. And then I wanted to know why so badly.

"Jeongguk, are you still awake?" He sat up and looked at me, blinking from time to time. "Are you okay?"

I smiled to myself. "I am."

"You've been spacing out. Something bothering you?" he asked, his voice the way I like.

"I've been wondering why you held my wrist tightly the first time I approached you. You could've told me to fuck off."

He laughed, before asking, "Am I still attractive like before?"

"Actually, you haven't changed at all. From your eyes to your nose, nothing has changed. And I'll always love you for what you are and who you are."

"What else?"

I suddenly leaned in for a kiss, with no hesitation, his lip placed in between mine. I could say he was shocked, but happy. And then he stopped me.

"Jeon Jeongguk."

"What," I whispered as I placed my elbows between his neck.

"I don't want my lips having holes."
