Prepare for a weird chapter of silly bedroom antics.

He had only a few minutes of stalling, before Mettaton would get worried. He took the time to compose himself and remind himself of what Sans told him. After a couple minutes he finally had steeled himself enough to go in there.

When he peeked into the room, he found that Mettaton had already changed into pajamas. He was sitting with his legs crossed on the bed, putting his medium length hair into a small ponytail.

"Hey." Mettaton smiled when he walked in. Papyrus couldn't stop himself from noticing how cute Mettaton looked, even in an old t shirt and shorts on.

"Hello." He said politely. He reached into a moving box with clothes and grabbed his pajamas, racing to the bathroom when he had.

He came out changed into his favorite pajamas: Red footies with meatballs on them. When Mettaton saw him he giggled.

"Oh my gosh, Papy! You look adorable!! Come here.." He patted the bed and scooched aside to let him in.

Papyrus gulped. "I just remembered....I forgot to brush my teeth!" And he raced back in the bathroom.

Finally he came back out, with the mintiest teeth in existence. "Brushed!"

"Great, now get over here or I'm turning out the light right now." Mettaton shook his head at his boyfriends silly antics.

He awkwardly made his way over to the bed, and sat on the very edge of it. "I'm not really tired-"

"Papyrus I can see the bags under your eyes." Mettatons voice was now more worried then questioning.

Papyrus got into the bed and layed down, but scooched far away from Mettaton.

Mettaton reached up and clicked off the lamp, laying down right beside Papyrus to cuddle his side. He nuzzled his back and was preparing to drift off, when...

Papyrus squirmed and moved away from him. He put a good 2 feet between them and stopped.

Annoyed, Mettaton scooched suffocatingly closer to him, wrapping his arms around his torso, and making it hard for Papyrus to move without taking Mettaton with him.

But he did! He was strong and when he moved, Mettaton was still clinging to his side, definitely not going to let go. They squirmed around together for a minute, and Papyrus was genuinely concerned about what the neighbors underneath them were hearing.

Papyrus was desperate. So desperate that he moved so far, they both toppled right off the side of the bed with a squeal. The carpeted ground was cold and hard, and Papyrus was pretty sure he bruised something vital.

"What. The. Hell, Papyrus?!" Mettaton stood up from where they'd fallen, and angrily turned on the light. "God, did you really have to do that?! You couldn't just let me cuddle you? Really?!"

Papyrus sputtered. He couldn't just tell Mettaton why! He looked up at his angry boyfriend and felt very, very stupid.

"I-"

"You what?" Mettaton crossed his arms.

"I'm sorry!" And despite his bed efforts he started to silently cry.

Mettaton huffed. An exasperated, but not extremely angry huff. More of a 'god damn I have to comfort you' huff. He reached down and gently picked Papyrus off the floor. He wiped off his tears.

"Papyrus." His voice was softer. "What's wrong? Are you scared of me?" He caressed his cheek, and Papyrus nodded wordlessly.

"Why? I'm not gonna hurt you!" He took Papyrus's hands and pulled down into a sitting position on the bed.

"I d-dont want..."

"What don't you want? Us? Or just sleeping in the bed as me, because you can go sleep on the couch if you want."

Papyrus cracked a smile and looked up at him, at his pretty eyes. "I don't want....a-anything to happen."

"What do you mea-oh." Mettaton was suddenly, and awkwardly silent. There was a long pause between them.

Finally Mettaton spoke. "Go to sleep, Papyrus. Trust me, you don't have to worry about me having sex with you for a long time."

Papyrus covered his blushing face when he said that. "I...don't?"

"No, now stop worrying and sleep!"

Later, when the lights were turned out and they were settled down in bed, Mettaton took the opportunity to snuggle up to Papyrus. This time, he didn't pull away, just smiled.
