Chapter Twenty- What Makes My Heart Beat

Your Pov-:

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. "Hello?" I said groggily. "Hello (Y/n). I am sorry if I woke you up however I just wanted to tell you that Travis will be allowed to go home today if you want to come and get him." Dr. Knight said cheerfully. My eyes widened and I sat up, completely awake. "I'll be there in ten minutes or less!" I exclaimed as I hung up the phone. I scampered over to my closet and grabbed a random outfit (in the media) and got changed and went into the bathroom and fixed my hair. Once I was ready I put on my shoes and channeled my energy and teleported to the hospital. "Well that was quick." Dr. Knight said walking out of Travis' hospital room. "You can go on in and leave when you whenever you like." She said with a gentle smile. "Hey... I've been wondering.... Do you by any chance have a daughter?" I asked stopping in the door frame and looking at her. "Yes actually I do. Her name is Melanie. Why do you ask?" She said clicking a pen. "No reason just crossed my mind." I replied with a smile. I walked into the room and was greeted by a smiling Travis. "You look cute today..." He said with a growing smile. "Thanks..." I said as my cheeks turned slightly pink. "You're cute when you blush." Travis said with a slight chuckle. "Glad to see you're feeling better..." I grumbled. "And I'm glad to see that you're still a Tsundere..." Travis said with a slight smirk. "You're real close to walking back and me leaving you all alone." I said placing my hands on my hips. "S-sorry..." Travis said quietly. I giggled slightly before walking over to him and grabbing his hand. "Brace yourself." I said as I closed my eyes and got ready to teleport. "D-do you really think this is a good idea?" Travis asked. "Aw is little Trav Trav scared?" I asked smirking somewhat. "No...." Travis said quietly. "Don't worry... It'll be fine!" I said with a smile. Travis looked at me suspiciously before nodding his head 'ok' slowly. I then teleported us back to my house. "W-whoa! Careful!" I exclaimed as I grabbed Travis by the shoulders and steadied him. He hiss in pain and I quickly pulled my hands back. "S-Sorry!" I exclaimed. "I-its fine... It would've hurt a lot more if I actually fell..." Travis said wincing slightly. "Why in the name of Irene did they release you from the Hospital when you're in pain just from being touched?" I asked as I furrowed my eyebrows. "H-hey... Chill.... Its fine ok? The bandages are just rubbing up against the stitches weird..." Travis said. "I have some bandages in the medicine cabinet in my bathroom.... Do you want me to change them?" I asked looking at him with concern. "Y-you don't have to do that..." Travis said quietly. "But... You would feel better if I did..... Correct..." I asked stepping back from him. I knew my answer when I saw his face become slightly pink. I started walking to the bathroom and stopped and looked behind me. "You coming or not?" I asked looking at Travis. His head snapped up and he quickly walked over to me and we continued walking to the bathroom. I opened the medicine cabinet and got out two rolls of bandages.  "Take off your shirt so I can replace your bandages." I said in a serious tone. Travis slowly pulled his arms into his shirt and went to lift it over his head but winced in pain. I sighed and pulled it over his head and placed it on the counter. "Are you sure you want to do this...... It looks really bad..." Travis said looking at me. "I don't care... If it makes it so you're in less pain I'm fine with it." I said as I kissed his nose. "O-ok..." Travis said quietly. I moved behind him and started unwrapping his bandages. Once I unwrapped the bandages enough to show part of his back I gasped and brought my hand to my mouth. "Oh my Irene...." I said in horror. "I told you it was bad...." Travis said sadly. "You don't have to continue if you don't want to..." Travis said. I sighed before I continued to unwrap his bandages. Once they were completely off he sighed in relief. "Does that feel better?" I ask. "Yea... They've been wrapped up since the were stitched." Travis said contently. "Well then do you just want to keep the bandages off for a bit?" I asked. "Are you sure... You would be ok with that? My back looks like something out of a horror movie..." Travis stated. "I'm fine with it. They'll heal faster if they air out anyways." I said. "Hey.... (Y/n)?" Travis asked. "Yea?" I replied. "I know this isn't the best place... Or time to be asking this.... But this is something I've been wanting to ask you for awhile now.... But... You're what makes my heart beat... You're the reason I look forward to the next day..... So what Im trying to say is.....Uhm...w-would you like....to be my girlfriend?" Travis asked as his face went red. I felt my face heat up and I smiled. "I'd love to Travis....." I said happily. Travis turned around and pulled me into a sweet and tender kiss. When he pulled away he had a huge smile on his face. "Ya know... A-Kon is still going on for the next week or so... And I wouldn't mind seeing you in a few unique outfits...." Travis said. "So... You wanna see if the others wanna go?" Travis asked. "Oh my Irene! Of course! What kind of question is that?" I exclaimed. I grabbed my phone from my back pocket.

"Well... That was kinda weird... What in the name of Irene is a Mithross.... And what is a fourth wall.....?" I asked looking at Travis. "Honestly theres a better chance of me being the son of a power hungry crazy demon that is also a warlock than there is of me being able to answer either of those questions." Travis said. "....I could believe that though...." I mumbled. "What?" Travis asked cocking his head.  "Nothing... We should probably pack though since we're leaving tomorrow...." I said. "You have a point..... Well I guess Ill see you in a bit then?" Travis asked. "Nope." I said. "Oh... Ok" Travis said sadly. "You can see me now... We're already done." I said pointing to two duffel bags that were neatly lined up against a wall. "What the... How'd you..." "Magic Travis.... Magic." I said with a giggle.
