It has taken Christina another half an hour to be ready and Grayson had already gone to the cat to wait for us to come down.
"You know, I don't know why he offered to take us when he's going to be Mr Grumpy Bum." Christina rolls her eyes, laughing as she locks her apartment door and we turn around to the elevator.

The silver, mirrored door opened wide and Ben the bell boy, who was only about 17 rushed to our side, his blonde quiff bobbing as he hurriedly walked to us, blushing as he looked at Christina before he wished us a good day and he guides out of the golden doors out to where Grayson's car was parked infront, however a man in a grey suit sat on the drivers seat and Grayson sat in the back. Before we could stay one step out of the building cameras flashed in our faces and we were bombarded by paparazzi who tucked at my jacket asking questions about my being a 'gold-digger'. Christina only walked forward as if this was part of her daily rutine and I guess it was. Ben quickly opened the newly washed black car and grinned as Christina thanked him before we both climbed into the back and Grayson's driver immediately pulled onto the busy road of New York. The flashing of the cameras slowly fading away in the distance and the two not saying a word of the previous event as if it hadn't happened.
"When do you think that boy will realise that you're old enough to be his Mother." Grayson jokes and I see his smile grow in the reflections of the window and I occasionally catch him glancing at me throughout the drive to the Mall.
"Shush, I'm only 25." She leans forward and without hesitating gently and playfully hits Grayson's arm which hangs loosely on his side and I smile at the two, not used to seeing Grayson's playful side.
"Exactly, you're wrinkles have already started coming through and I swear I saw a grey hair yesterday." He laughs, biting his index finger as his other hand tightly grips his muscled thigh and childishly laughs to himself and I awe at the sight.
"Okay, okay." Christina waves her hand about and I sit back, listening to the quiet melody which plays out of the speakers and I instantly recognise the tune. Humming to the tune, I watch the many people rush in different directions on the street as the rain pours over them, either holding a coffee, on the phone or both.
"Pick me up my shirt." Grayson calls and I don't notice that Christina had already opened the car door and the car had also stopped at the entrance of the mall so we didn't get too wet. Before I could properly close the car door shut the driver had driven away and I sigh, rolling my eyes as I turn to walk into the mall with Christina.

"I think you should go lighter." Christina manages to say as her mouth is full with green salad which she had just ordered. I had opted for the chocolate cake instead, ignoring the looks the women gave me as I smiled at them with chocolatey teeth.
Piercing my lips as I look at my damaged hair in the reflection I couldn't imagine my hair unnatural and I certainly couldn't imagine it lighter. What would Grayson think? I wonder before I realise what I had thought. Why should I care what Grayson thinks? He probably wouldn't notice anyway.
