Angela

His body felt warm against mine and I instantly felt safe as his muscular arm wrapped around my back, his head nuzzling into my neck as I allow the few teardrops to fall from my blood shot eyes, soaking his jacket. He didn't smell like Grayson, masculine, musky and manly. Instead he smelt like vanilla and I loved the smell just as much. I knew he didn't want to ask what had happened as we slowly pull away from the hug, my head hanging low, not wanting him to see me cry as he watched me. He knew that it was Grayson, it always was.

"Do you want to come to my hotel room and we can order some food?" Landon asks, his hands stuffed in his big puffy black jacket as he didn't know where to put them. "I mean - if you want, I can always take you to your hotel room if you want to be alone, I underst-" He begins to ramble, his breathe turning grey in the cold as he anxiously runs his fingers through his hair.

"A Chinese would be nice." I smile, looking up towards him as he lets out a heavy breathe, his lips curling as he grins at me and I found him absolutely adorable.

"Chinese it is!" He laughs, embarrassed because his heart is on his sleeve however I liked it. I was so used to Grayson hiding how he felt and the way he would randomly say a heart tugging sentence gave me whiplash.

I couldn't imagine someone like Landon being friends with someone like Grayson, it seemed almost odd. With Landon being in the science lab and Grayson the on the football field with Ethan as Christina sported the short cheerleading outfit in which she told me she adored. However, Landon is someone who looks past the bad and he knew the Grayson that I didn't know, I was jealous that he did.

His hands stayed in his pockets, the sound of my sniffling filling the silent space as we walked up the steps and the doorman opens the door for us. I thank him as I walk through, Landon close behind me before he leads me to the elevator and he presses the gold 7 button as the doors automatically close.

"You look very pretty tonight, Angela." He tells me and I appreciate his compliment as I know he's lying, I didn't look pretty. I had black tears streaming down my cheeks, blood shot, puffy eyes.

"You don't have to say that you know." I let him know as I look at him to see a faint crease between his eyebrows and I had never realise the beautiful shade of brown his eyes are as they had always been shielded by his glasses. I almost wished I was looking into Grayson's however the thought of even being near Grayson made me want to cry.

"What do you mean?" Landon asks in confusion and the elevator dings as it stops, the doors opening showing a long hall of white doors and I step out first, my heals sinking into the soft carpet.

"You don't have to compliment a crying girl." I say as I swing my bag in my hands, his hands hanging dangerously low to mine. "It's ok."

"Angela." He begins, the tone of his voice sounding upset as I read the numbers on every door, each number is gold in curled font. "I would compliment you even you weren't crying, but I really do think you're really beautiful when you cry." [a/n: stiles af]

My hearts aches at his words. They sounded foreign coming from his lips and I couldn't help but smile. I had always thought I had an ugly cry, I knew I did but he was too polite to say so.

"This is it."

Pulling out a black key, the same one that I had been given, he pushes it into the keyhole before turning it and a quiet click is heard as he turns the golden door handle. Gesturing his hand allowing me to go in first, I step into his room and I recognise similar items that were in my room also.

"Make yourself comfy, I'll find a Chinese takeaway number." Landon tells me as he shuts the door behind him before locking it and shrugging his brown leather jacket off as I do the same. "I'll take that."
