When I woke up the blinds were open and my mom was sleeping in the chair beside me. I scratched my eyes and stretched. All the blood in my body rushed to my heart. I can move.

"I CAN MOVE!" I shouted, startling my mom awake "I can move, I'm awake, mom I can move!"

"Riley!" tears of joy started to fill up her bright eyes. She leaned over my bed and kissed me on the forehead

"I'm going to call your dad and Lukas so they can come get us, and we can get the hell out of here!"

I stood up for the first time in what felt like years. my knees felt achey and my stomach started to turn, but the only ting that matters is that I can go home! My mom dashed into the other room to  go tell my doctor, it felt good to smile again.

A few hours later and I was laying in my own bed, begging my parents to let me go in the water.

"Give your body some rest" my dad chuckled "You're fresh out of the hospital, call your friends to come over and chat."

The first person that came too my mind was that boy, dammit.

I texted Ellie and told her to bring Shawn, Hazel, and Carl over because I might be inviting that cute boy over. I yelled into my brothers room and asked what hes doing today

"Noting much, you wanna do something, Ri?"

"Well, kinda." I said with a small smile "Can you invite over that boy next door? I heard he came to visit me and I just want to thank him..."

"Only if you invite that Hazel girl, she's single right?" He said with a smirk, he knew it made me cringe whenever he thought my friends were hot.

"But NOT ready to mingle!" I said glaring  towards  him with a quiet laugh.

Maybe tonight I'll talk to the boy, show him I'm fun and exiting, or something. I have to plan what I'm going to say, I can't screw this up. Maybe 'hey guys! lets play truth or dare. Kid that lives next door dare you to kiss me!' OH HELL NO. I'm so screwed.
