I hopped into the passenger seat, he had a small black car with leather seats. It looked expensive, but I don't know much about cars. I looked at his keys and spotted his license. I giggled, brought my knees up to my chest, and berried my face.
"What?" He asked smiling with his head tilted. I pointed at his drivers license and started laughing some more.
"Hey!" He said acting stern, "I look hot." He gave me a wink and started the car.
The ride was smooth, but the sent of new car gave me a head ache. We were listening to the top 20 hits, when 5 Seconds of Summer came on. I turned up the volume and started singing along. I closed my eyes and imagined myself alone jamming out in the shower. I heard Calum laugh.
I looked at him and stopped singing "You want to know something?'
"Always." He said
"This is my favorite band." I gave him a small smile and turned my head back around so I was facing the front. I started to sing again, then I glanced over and saw his hand slowly reaching for mine, I met him half way. I grabbed his hand, weaving it with mine, and started using our intertwined fingers as a microphone.
When we arrived to Waffle House our hands broke apart.
"Nobody's going to be here." He said as he opened the door for me.
I gave him a questioned look "That's why we came right?" He smiled and sat down at a booth.
When our food came we inhaled it like we haven't eaten in ten years. It feels so easy to talk to him, like words just flow out of my mouth. Well sometimes it's s good thing.
He got up "I'll be back, I have to release my urine." He chuckled
I gave his a disgusted look, but couldn't hold back my giggles. He waled towards the restrooms and my phone buzzed, It's a text from Lukas:
'hey sis im surfing in a bit txt me when u and hunky boy get back'
'we'll be back soon dont get eaten by a shark' I replied
I didn't even hear Calum come up behind me.
"Hey, you ready?"
I nodded and put my phone into my pocket. We started walking to the car when I felt a rain drop splash on the tip of my nose. By the time we got in the car it was storming out. He started the car with a 'ding' and we drove out of the parking lot. I rested my head on the window and watched the windshield wipers go nuts as the water poured down upon them.
"What the fuck is that?!" Calum screamed.
And before I knew it we were swerving off the road onto the mud. The only thing I heard was myself screaming and Calum yelling "NOOOOOOO".
"Oh my gosh..."
