The door bell rings and my heart jumps out of my chest, what if it's the boy? I tried to put my best smile on and slowly creaked the door open, thank the lord Gods above it's only Hazel and Carl.
"Wasss uppp!" Hazel greets me in the weirdest ways, always with a goofy smile on her face.
"Hey! Y'all can just head up stairs." I say quickly glancing at Carl to see if that's okay with him.
"Okay, but Ri, where's the food I'm dying." Carl says with a smile.
I point to the pantry and send them on their way. A few minutes passed and finally the door rang again, this time I put on less of a smile, I didn't want it to look like I've been waiting. I creak open the door once again to find Ellie and Shawn. I sigh to myself, I don't think he'll actually show up.
"Love you too babe..." Ellie says with a giggle obviously hearing me sigh
"Do you think that cute guy will actually show up? Because you're always last to show up and-"
Ellie walks in and gives me a tight hug "He'll show, I promise." she pats my cheek and heads to my room with the rest of the crowd, while Shawn waits downstairs with me.
"Who's this 'cute boy' anywa-"
"Hey Riley."
Oh shit. That's him. That's the boy. I whip my head around too see the boy, looking perfect as always.
"Oh hi..." I could feel my face turning reder then Lukas's ass after talking back to my dad. By the look on his face, I could tell he definitely heard what Shawn said.
Shawn looks at me then looks back at the boy in one swift motion "uhhhh gotta blast" and sprints up the stairs like some monster was chasing him.
"You can come to my room with me, well not just me, my friends are up there too, Lukas is up there too do you want me to get him?" I'm. So. Fucking. Screwed
He laughs, showing his beautiful smile "Okay, show me where it is?"
I just about passed out. We walked up the stairs together in silence, when we reached me room Ellie and Hazel had smirks on their faces. I laughed, shook my head, and plopped in between Ellie and Carl.
About an hour passed and I didn't COMPLETELY make a fool of myself. I actually was acting like a normal person, until Carl suggested truth or dare, shit.
