"Oh, hello." Calum's mom said in a surprised voice.
I replied quickly, trying not to sound nervous. "Hi, I'm Riley Williams. I don't believe we met before."
"I'm Stacy Hoodly nice to meet you?" she gave me a smile that showed off her perfect white teeth.
She had short dark hair that curled at the end of her ears, brown eyes, and small pink lips. She looked like a doll and had a slight Australian accent, just like Calum.
"I was just about to walk her home, she lives next door." He said glancing to me and showing a small smile.
His mom nodded her head and continued heading for the kitchen. We walked out the door silently.
"Haha sorry about that princess, I didn't realize what time it was."
"It's fine, I just met her and you can already tell she doesn't like me." I said taking his hand.
He rolled his eyes and planted a quick kiss on my cheek, indicating this is where I'm getting dropped off. I smile, wave, then turn to go inside. I can feel him staring at me, but I don't look back, just close the door behind me.
Right as I put my shoes away I look up to see Lukas staring at me.
"What the hell Ri?" He says in an angered voice.
"What?" I ask even though I know exactly why he's mad.
"You basically stood me up, I told you to meet me at the beach, instead you hand out with that back stabber all day." He turns around and heads upstairs to his bedroom.
I can feel the guilt pumping through my veins. I've never done that before to him, we don't fight often.
Flash back to six years ago
"Give my diary back! Now Luke!" I screamed.
We were home alone and free, great idea to leave two ten year old kids home alone mom and dad.
Lukas waved the book in my face. "haha are you going to go cry to mom and dad now?"
"No," I yelled, "but I am going to tell Hazel you like her!"
He handed back my diary with a frown.
Present day
What am I going to do now?
