3 weeks later
Summer was coming to an end, and for the past three days I have been surfing my heart out. Knowing that I won't be able to surf on school nights because I'll be busy with homework. 'Today is the last day of summer' I mumbled to myself. 'Time to make the most of it'
I looked at my clock, it read 8:00AM. I grabbed my phone and texted the group chat.
"It's the last day of summer bitches come to my house rn"
A few minutes later my phone was buzzing.
"I'll be there in 5mins" -Hazel
"On my way" -Ellie
"I'm already here" -Lukas
I walked into Lukas's room with a big smile across my face. I laid down in the bed next to him in complete silence.
After a few minutes I couldn't stand the silence anymore.
"Lukassss, you want to make the last day of summer the bestest day ever?" I asked.
"Hell yea." He mumbled through his blankets.
"Then get your lazy ass up! Because I need you to get: paint! Twister! White shirts! Water balloons! And the camera! Can you complete this mission?" I yelled as if I were a leader of a military camp.
"Sir yes sir!" Lukas replied.
Ten minutes later we had all the supplies on a table in the back yard. We put the game Twister down and grabbed the paint. This game is called Messy Twister. It's where you play twister, but with paint on the dots. That's why we got the white shirts, so we have a cool looking shirt as a souvenir. When we were done setting up Messy Twister I heard the door bell ring. I clicked the button of the speaker so music was playing and ran upstairs to open the door too Carl.
"Heyyyyyyy." I said as I swung open the door.
He chuckled and replied. "Hey, hey, RiRi, what's cooking?"
I giggled and motioned for him to come inside. I handed him a white shirt that matched the one I was wearing.
"Put this on madam."
He took the shirt and shrugged. As he peeled off his dark blue shirt to put the other one on, I stared. Oops. He had a great body with a freaking eight pack. The lines were so deep in his stomach I wanted to poke them to see if they were real. But instead I walked out the front door and sat on the porch, waiting for others to arrive.
Calum was next. When he spotted me on the porch a smile of sunshine spread across his face. We haven't kissed since the time we got stuck in the mud. We kissed on the cheek every now and then but I was craving a real, meaningful kiss.
Calum hugged me tight and lightly planted a kiss on my cheek. Holy shit I wanted to do that 'turn the head move' so badly, but instead he put on the white shirt and held my hand as we waited for the others to arrive.
