Chapter twenty-nine: Close

The school day was finally over and Caulm, Lukas and I we're heading to the car.

"Lonnnnggggg day my friends." Lukas groaned as he hopped into the back seat of Calum's car.

I laughed silently showing that I agree, closed my eyes, and sat back in my chair. I felt Calum's soft lips plant an unexpected kiss on mine and I opened my eyes. He pulled away quickly and gave me a wink.

"PDA mother fuckers! Y'all nasty." Lukas yelled, causing all three of us to break out into laughter.

I reached over and planted a second kiss on Calum's lips and shot a smirk toward Lukas. Lukas put his hands over his eyes like a toddler and yelled,

"Make babies somewhere else!"

Calum chuckled and turned the keys to the car. Soon enough we were in my drive way. Lukas opened the car door and shot Claum a wink,

"Hosta la vista bitches." Lukas screamed as he slammed the door with a loud bang.

"Don't lave meeee!" Calum whined "Come overrrrrr!"

I giggled and rolled my eyes. "Okayyyyyy."I mimicked.

A smile spread across his face as he backed out of my drive way. We got out of the car a few moments later and he swung open the front door to his house, holding it open for me.

"Thank you kind sir." I said in a British accent.

He winked at me and I heard someone coming down the stairs.

"Riley!" A high pitched voice squealed in excitement.

I tuned my head to find Addie running in my direction.

"Addie!" I said with a bright smile

I bent down so I was her height and she ran into my arms.

"Can you have a sleepover tonight? Mommy's gone and Cal never lets me
do his makeup!"

I turned to Calum with a questioning look. He nodded with a smile starting to spread across his face. He wrapped his arms around me.

"Call Luke and ask if he wants to sleepover also."

I nodded my head and called Lukas.

"Hey Lukey." I said in a cheerful voice

"Hey crusty pickle, how ya doin?" He sounded like he was eating, probably stuffing his face with potato chips.

"Sleepover at Cal's tonight, mom won't care we literally do nothing the second day of school."

"K boo, lemme ask moma." he said swallowing his food.

After a few moments of silence, he started talking to me again.

"madre said yes, I'm going surfing, I'll call you when I'm done."

"K."

"K, bye."

"Bye."

I hung up the phone and smiled to Calum. Addie saw my expression and squealed with happiness.

"Come upstairs!" She said as she took my hand, trying to pull me up the stairs.

As we reached her room she motioned to sit down on her bed. "I'll be right back!"

Twenty or so minutes later Addie came out of the bathroom.

"Welcome to Addie's spa! Where we paint nails and sniff yummy smelling candles!"

I laughed and sat on the small pink carpet laying across her tile bathroom floor.

Two hours later Addie was done 'spaing' me and Lukas was talking to Calum in Calums room.

"We should get to bed princess," Calum said as he walked in. he took my hand and whispered "Schools tomorrow."

I nodded and plopped onto the bed which Calum, Lukas, and I are sleeping on. I nestled my head into Calum's chest and quickly fell asleep.
