MICHAEL

I'm okay now. Even after everything that happened, I'm okay. At least that's what I tell myself.

Everyone seems to be happy. I'm happy. The fans love me, the stage gives me chills. The music makes me happy. I'm happy. At least that's what I tell myself.

I'm worth it. People love me. I don't feel down anymore. I'm not depressed, I'm not alone, I'm not worthless. At least that's what I tell everybody else.

People love me. People care about me. The fans, my friends, family, they all care about me. At least that's what they tell me.

Luke loves me.

At least, that's what he told me.

~flashbacks~

"I love you, Michael."

"Michael Clifford, you're the only thing I need."

"You're like a drug, I need you."

"I want you."

"I love you to ends of the earth."

"You're the one."

"You're the most gorgeous person I've ever laid eyes on."

"Stop crying, you're beautiful."

"I love you, more than anything in this world."

"Why won't you believe me, I love you."

"Michael for fucks sake, I only love you."

"I can't do this anymore, I love you."

"I'll always love you."

"But I need to let you go."

"You deserve the best, and that's not me."

"I can't live without you, Michael."

"I need you."

"I still love you."

"I loved you."

"You meant everything to me."

"I needed you."

"I used to always love you."

"I wanted you."

"but now I need to go."

He never said goodbye. He left me. Alone. But I'm okay. I'm happy. People love me. Luke did truly love me. At least that's what I tell myself.

this can be interrupted any way. It's up to you to imagine what ever happened to Luke. If he just left Michael, or this world. I wanted an aspect to be left to you.

Just an idea I had showing their relationship through small I love yous, to show how it changed.
