Prepare yourself for this. Not really sure how this is gonna turn out.
MICHAEL
He loves me. He has too.
Nobody else loves me, but him. Because I love him so that makes him love me... right?
I sigh, looking over to the side where the beautiful boy used to lay. That is until he got discharged, now it's just me in this lonely room.
If you're wondering, I'm in a mental hospital because I was diagnosed with schizophrenia last spring, but I hadn't seen things when Luke was here. I was absolutely fine. No monsters, they just dissapeared. That's why I love him, because he makes everything better.
Luke was in the hospital because he had an eating disorder, but not only that, the eating disorder made him think he was scared of anybody who questioned him on it. He once punched a kid because he accused him of being anorexic.
So he was to be kept locked up behind the big metal doors of the mental hospital. But, after a few years he was let go because they realized that it wasn't actually a mental disorder, so he was sent of to a social camp somewhere out in Indianna.
Currently, I was sitting on my bed, staring at his. He had been gone for 2 weeks and I was not taking it well, as the doctors put it.
As I was sitting there I closed my eyes, picturing Luke sitting there. He would share his songs with me and then talk about his family and his girlfriend, which didn't make me to to happy because you know, I'm in love with him.
I opened my eyes, about to sigh but then I gasped in shock. There on the bed sat Luke, a smirk across his face.
"Luke?" I gasp, trying to control my heartbeat.
"Hey Mike." He says, the smirk growing on his face. He stands up and walks over to me, sitting by my side.
"What're you doing here?" I ask, wondering how he could've gotten from Indianna all the way back to London.
"I couldn't stay away from you, Mike. So I never got on the plane. I love you Mike." He sighs, staring into my eyes with his icy blue ones.
"I love you too, Luke." I sigh. I knew it. He loves me, just like I predicted.
"Michael?" I turn to see a nurse, standing in the doorway. I look at her, scrunching my eyebrows.
"You didn't take your medication this morning." She sighs. Why had she not been interested in Luke? He was her favorite patient.
"Why aren;t you happy?" I ask her, a confused look on my face.
"What are you talking about, Michael." She sighs, obviously annoyed.
"Luke. He's back." I say, motioning over to the blonde boy.
"Michael..." She trails off, a look of sadness written on her face.
"What? Aren't you happy?" I was so confused by this point.
"Michael, nobody is there." She sighs, as her eyes begin to water.
"What? No. He's right here." I say, laying my hand on his shoulder. But, it went straight through.
"Michael, I thought you were doing better." She says, wiping a single tear away.
"I-I he made me better, I-I am better." I sigh, "He's right there." I feel the tears running down my face.
"No, Michael, he's not. Come on, let's go pick up your medicine." She says, grabbing my arm and leading me toward the door.
I turn one final time to see the boy I love, but he's not there.
Goodbye, Luke.
I updated :)
I have no idea where this idea came from, but it just felt right. I wasn't sure where this was going, but I'm happy with it.
It feels so original!
