Chapter Twenty (The Results)

Bella's POV

Edward had provided Carlisle with a sample of his swimmers as Edward had called it, his brothers just laughed at him when he called it that. It has been a few days since Carlisle started the testing, Edward had to provide him with another sample. Alice has been busy planning the wedding, she seemed pre-occupied doing it and that Edward and I had some peace. We were currently sitting in the living room, I was on Edward's lap of course.

He suddenly told me, "Carlisle want to see us in his study, he has the results." I asked him, "Can you already see the results in his mind?" Edward responded, "No, he's been blocking his mind from me the entire time he's been running the tests." I said, "Good, I want us to hear the news at the same time." He lifted me into his arms and got me positioned on his back, I clung onto him tightly as he took off faster than lightning heading up the stairs to Carlisle's office.

A few seconds later Edward set me on my feet as we were inside Carlisle's study, I turned around to face Carlisle. Carlisle said, "Bella, why don't you take a look for yourself," he motioned for me to step forward and take a look. I peered through the lense and saw Edward swimmers moving very quickly, I kept an emotionless mask on my face, so Edward won't know what I saw. I turned to my mate and said, "Take a look, Edward." He took a quick glance before turning to Carlisle and asked, "Does that mean male vampires are fertile?" Carlisle answered, "Well, you are anyway."

Edward's POV

Bella nearly knocked me to the floor as she jumped on me with insane speed, she was overjoyed by the fact we would be able to have a child together. Then she pressed her lips feverishly against mine, I ran us up to my bedroom and locked the door behind me. She had her legs wrapped tightly around my waist, I sat her down on the bed gently. She looked at me like she was going jump me and never let go, I kind of like that idea.

All of a sudden Bella purred at me, "I want you Edward, right now." I raised my eyebrows at her and thought, "She's so lustful, I like that." Bella started laughing at me and asked, "Why are you laughing at me, Bella?" She spoke, "You just said you like it that I'm lustful." I replied, "I didn't say that...out-loud. You can read minds?" She stated, "I guess I can, but I'm only hearing your thoughts, maybe I'll be able to hear the others later on." I told her with a grin, "Anything is possible."

I walked over to my dresser and grabbed a contraceptive, then I quickly got onto the bed and laid fairly close to Bella. She played with the hem of my shirt as she asked, "Do you think Alice will be mad at me if I ripped this shirt right off of you?" I smiled at her coyly and said, "She might, but do you really give a damn about that." She chuckled and said, "No, not really." I asked her alluringly, "Do you find the idea of ripping my clothes off of me very tempting?" She replied with a grin, "You're about to find out in a few seconds."

I gave her a confused look until she literally ripped the shirt off of me a few seconds later, she had a satisfied look plastered on her face. We broke out laughing when we heard the short black-haired pixie yell, "Dammit Bella, that shirt is expensive!" Bella yelled back, "Correction Alice, that shirt was expensive!" We laughed as Alice groan in frustration, the pixie didn't like being picked on. Bella through her shield around us and smiled wickedly at me, we had some old-fashioned fun for the next few hours.

Alice's POV

It got noisy fairly quick upstairs and I just rolled my eyes at Emmett as he whispered to Jasper, "Edward is getting himself some action." Rosalie just smacked him in the back of the head and all of us started laughing at him, Rosalie smiled in satisfaction. I had found a few formats for the invitations, I would have to have Bella and Edward go over them at another time. The final details of the invitations for the wedding would have to wait, until Bella and Edward set a date for the wedding. I wondered if they would like to have the wedding here, I really couldn't think of a better place for them to have the wedding then at our home.

All of a sudden I was pulled into a vision, my surroundings vanished from and I became completely focused on the vision. I received a quick glance of Bella figuring she was pregnant at Esme's Island, both Edward and Bella had huge grin on their faces. Then I saw Bella very pregnant back at our house, she looked a little pale and malnourished. After that I saw a glimpse of Bella looking a little heathier, which a good thing. Then everything turned fuzzy, I couldn't see Bella's future anymore and I hated that.

Jasper asked as I my surroundings were restored again, "What did you see, Alice?" I lied, "Nothing much, just that the wedding will be held here." Emmett stated, "Awesome, I saw that one coming." I rolled my eyes at him and just plainly ignored him after that, I didn't care to much to say anything to him. I realized I hadn't gaged any reaction from Edward about what I had just saw, he was either blocking our minds or Bella had her shield casted around them. I knew I had to keep what I saw from Edward, but I needed to talk about the vision I had. There was only two reasons why I might not seen Bella's future; one, the shape-shifters might be around towards the end of Bella's pregnancy and two, Bella might die giving birth.
