Chapter Seven (The Cullen's Place)

Bella's POV

Something in the back of my mind was telling me something bad was going to happen in the next few days, but I didn't know what was going to happen. I looked over at Edward who had a smile on his face, I knew exactly why he was smiling; it's because he's with me again. I noticed we were only a few minutes away from his parents house, he looked over at me and sent me a smile. Then he said, "Carlisle and Esme will be very happy to see you Bella."

He pulled to a stop twenty-five feet away from the house about three minutes later, he opened the passenger door for me in less than a second and helped me out. I wrapped my right arm around his waist as we headed towards the house, he planted a kiss on my forehead, before he opened the front door and leading me towards the living room.

Carlisle and Esme were sitting on the white love-seat, they stood up and approached me. Esme spoke first, "It's nice to see you again Bella, we're happy that Edward was able to save you in time." Carlisle said, "Hello Bella." I said, "It's nice to see you again Esme and Carlisle." Then Edward lead me over to his piano, I sat down next to him as he began to play my lullaby. He wrote it for me last year, I loved it so much. After he finished playing my lullaby, I said, "I loved hearing you play it, I love you so much Edward." He pressed his lips to mine suddenly, we almost fell to the floor, but he kept us on the bench. He pulled away and said, "Carlisle wants to see you in his office."

Edward held out his hand for me to take as we headed up the stairs to Carlisle's office, he opened the door for me and followed me inside. Carlisle motioned for Edward and I to take a seat, Edward took a seat next to me and held my hand again. We waited for Carlisle to speak. I wondered what he wanted to talk about, I really had no clue.

Finally Carlisle spoke, "I need you to tell me the truth now, Bella. How many times have you skipped eating a meal in the last five months?" I replied, "I really have no clue, but when I did eat I would only eat a small amount." Carlisle replied, "I see. I asked you to come here because, when I say you earlier you looked malnourished." I replied, "I know Carlisle, but this have changed now, I started to eat more often now." Carlisle replied, "I believe you Bella.  You guys can go off to do whatever you want now." 

Edward lead me up to his room, after I had talked to Carlisle, which I was confused about. Edward asked, "Is something bothering you Bella?" I replied, "No, I'm just a little confused about a few things. I'll tell you about it later." He just nodded his head as we stopped at his door, then we stepped inside his room.

A few images flashed through my mind, they weren't good images. First, I saw Edward with red eyes, he wasn't himself at all. Second, he was looking at me with hungry eyes, he was scaring the hell out of me. Third, I saw Alice with red eyes as well, she didn't remember Jasper at all; just like Edward didn't remember me either. Fourth, we were standing in front of vampires in black cloaks. I let out a blood curdling scream, when the images had stopped. Edward looked at me in shock, I collapsed to the floor.

When I became conscious again, I was in Carlisle office. Edward was holding hand, I could tell he was really worried about me. He asked, "What happened Bella? Why did you scream?" I let out a deep breath and said, "A few images flashed through my mind, they really scared me." Alice popped in and asked, "What did you see?" I replied, "I saw you and Edward with red eyes, which seemed weird to me. Edward looked at me like I was something to eat. Alice you weren't remembering Jasper and Edward wasn't remembering me; neither of you actually remembered me." I decided to leave the part about the Volturi with me, I didn't want to make them scared, I would go after Edward to find him and make him remember me, no matter what it could cost me. Edward asked, "Is that all you saw Bella?" I lied successfully, "Yes, that's all I saw." Edward said, "Everything will be okay, you'll see." I just said, "I don't know Edward, I can feel something bad is going to happen soon."

I looked at the time and noticed it was getting close to five, I knew had to go home soon, so I could cook supper for Charlie. I looked up at Edward and said, "I think I should go home now, I need to make supper for Charlie and me." Edward replied, "Okay Bella, I'll take you home. Edward lifted me into his arms and carried me down the stairs, then he ran with immortal speed to his car. He set me on the passenger seat and buckled me in, before he got into the driver's seat and took off towards my dad's house.

He pulled into the driveway fifteen minutes later, he got out and opened my door for me. He wrapped his arm around my waist as he walked with me into the house, he followed me into the kitchen and sat on the counter top. I decided to make tuna casserole and some biscuits, he watched me as I started to mix the ingredients of the tuna casserole, then I put it in the oven and started to make the biscuits.

Suddenly Edward asked, "Can you tell me what had you confused earlier?" I replied, "Okay, I was confused by why Carlisle called me to his office, I ready didn't understand why." Edward said, "He wanted to know why you looked so malnourished, he just wanted to make sure you were okay." I said, "I'm fine now, I have you in my life." I knew if he disappeared again, I would go looking for him; if he left again, I know he would of been taken from me. I wondered what I saw earlier was a vision, but I wasn't really sure, I guess I would find out soon enough.

I quickly put the biscuits in the oven to bake, I set the timer, before walking over to Edward and placed a small kiss on his lips. Edward pulled away and said, "Charlie will be here in a few minutes." Edward got off the counter top and sat down at the table, I took a seat next to him and rested my head on his shoulder.

If what I saw was a vision, then Alice and Edward could disappear soon. The Volturi would of taken them and erased their minds some how. I would go looking for them, I'm sure Jasper would join me because they would have his mate. I didn't like the idea of the Volturi possessing Edward and Alice. I would try saving them, even if it would cause me my life. I just wished I knew when it was going to happen, if it was going to happen.

Later that night Edward and I were laying on my bed, he had his arms wrapped around me. I said, "If you ever disappear for some reason, I will go looking for you. You're my mate Edward and I love you. I know if you ever left me again, it would be against your will. I would risk my own life just for the sake of finding you again. There is nothing in this world that can stop me from being with you." He stroked my cheek softly and sent me a smile that reached his eyes. He said, "There nothing in this world that can keep me from being with you, my love. He kissed me passionately for a few seconds, then he whispered in my ear, "I think I should let you sleep know." He started to hum my lullaby, I fell asleep a few seconds later. Hoping he wouldn't go missing, that the Volturi wouldn't take him away from his family and mostly...me.
