Chapter Eleven (The telling of what went down in Volterra)

Bella's POV

As the four of us entered the house, all of the Cullen's were waiting in the living room for us. Carlisle looked at me and asked, "Bella, will you please tell us what happened in Volterra?" I smiled at him and said, "I would love too." Edward instantly placed my hand in his, I looked up at him quickly. He looked like he was worried about something, but I didn't know. I asked him, "What's wrong Edward?" He looked away and said, "Nothing." I narrowed my eyes at him and said, "I know something is wrong, now tell me or else." He let of a sigh, but he didn't answer me. I looked over at Alice who quickly looked away from me as well, she had seem something. I asked, "What did you see Alice?" Edward growled at her, but she answered anyway, "Your's and Edward's future disappears in a few hours." I asked her, "Why does it disappear?" She replied, "I can't tell you that, none of us can tell you." I frowned and turned to look at everyone else, then I said, "Maybe I should see if I can figure it out on my own." I closed my eyes and cleared my mind, then I said, "Show me what will happen in five hours."

Within a second several images appeared in mind, they told me exactly what made Edward so worried. First, there was a knock on the front door at Dad's house, dad opened it and Billy and Jacob walked inside. Second, Jacob looked at me with hatred in his eyes, he put his hand over his nose like Edward had done. Third, I escorted him out of the house to ask him what his problem was. Fourth, Edward appeared from the trees and approached us, he was worried Jacob was going to hurt me. Fifth, Jacob's frame started shaking and steam was coming from him. Sixth, he suddenly turned into a huge wolf. And finally I put up my shield around Edward and me to protect us from Jacob.

I looked over at Edward with shock in my eyes, I said in an even voice, "I will be using my shield very soon, I will protects us." Alice said, "I can't see them Bella, I never could." I said, "I assume you mean you can't see werewolves." Alice replied, "Yes, that's exactly what they are." I looked back at Carlisle and said, "Let's begin talking about what happened in Volterra." Carlisle smiled and waited for me to begin, so I began, "Well, after Jasper and I made into their palace like building and headed into the big room all of them were in. I state to them, "You took our mates from us, we're here to claim what's ours." Then one of them said, "What a forceful human, which mate is yours dear."

I paused for a few seconds and said, "I had said Edward, the one who is looking at me with hungry eyes, just like the first day I met him. Then the one named Aro asked, "Do you remember her Edward?" Edward replied, "No Aro, but she does smell delicious." I had tell Jasper to be quiet because he started growling at Edward. I said directly to Aro, "I know exactly why he doesn't remember me, you erased their minds with a small device." Aro's face remained emotionless, I could tell he was trying to hide his emotions from us. I stated, "I'm a human that knows that vampires actually exist, I've known for over a year now."

I took a moment to let everything sink in, before saying, "Jasper yelled at them suddenly, "Alice is my mate! I want my mate back!" I watched as Jasper suddenly collasped to the ground in pain, I knew that the one named Jane was causing him pain. I yelled at her to leave him alone. she turned to me an evil smile on her face and asked, "Do you want to be like him, I suggest you shut up or you will be." I yelled at her daring her to try it on me. I watched as her evil grin turned into a frown because her powers wouldn't work on me. Aro asked Jane, "What are you waiting for?" She replied with a growl, "It isn't working on her!" Then out of the corner of my eye I saw Edward approaching me slowly, I turned to look at him. His eyes were red, but had a feeling he hadn't feed on a human. I said, "They erased your mind Edward, you can't trust them, they took you from your family, they took you from me." He stopped right in front of me, he stroked the side of my face, he pulled his hand away. He said, "You shocked me." I rolled my eyes at him and said, "It's the mating bond you idiot." He stroked the side of my face again, he uttered under his breath, "So beautiful."  I accidentally knocked off his cloak, when I saw the color of his eyes I gasped. Then Edward wanted to know why I gasped and all I told him was to look in the mirror."
