Chapter Twenty-Six (A wedding dress?)

Bella's POV

It was currently three weeks before the wedding, Alice had decided today was a perfect day to go look for a wedding dress. Edward wasn't allowed to come with because Alice had said Edward wasn't allowed to see the wedding dress before the wedding, which I thought was a load of crap and I almost told her that once. I knew Alice would probably try to force me to get the most extravagant dress in the entire shop, but I would make sure I got the dress I could see myself wearing. If I had to I would threaten her I would literally band her from planning the rest of the wedding, I'm sure that would convince her to let me make my own decision on this matter.

Suddenly Alice said, "We're almost their, just another fifteen minutes before we arrive." I informed her, "You're not going to force me to get a dress I don't like. Do I make myself clear, Alice." She let out a sigh and rolled her eyes at me before saying, "Yes, I understand what you mean." Esme was currently driving us to Seattle, I knew she was glad I was marrying her son Edward. Alice narrowed her eyes at Rosalie who was currently snickering at her, I just rolled my eyes at the both of them. Esme told them sternly, "Behave Alice and Rosalie, there will be no fighting in this car." I turned to Esme and said, "Thanks Esme." She responded, "You're welcome, Bella."

We arrived in front of the dress shop in fifteen minutes as Alice had predicted, I slowly got out of the car and followed them into the shop. Alice was literally jumping up and down in excitement and it was starting to get my nerves, I wasn't the only one who was being bothered by it. Rosalie growled at her, "Will you just calm down already?" I just walked away from them as I began to search for my wedding dress on my own, Esme tried to calm down both Alice and Esme. Alice had ordered the bridesmaid gowns online last week, she showed me what she had picked out and once I had agreed she ordered them a second later.

After a few minutes of searching through a few rack I froze where I stood, then a smile spread across my face because I had found the one dress I wanted to wear when I married Edward. It had long sleeves and a heart-shape neckline, I just believe I had found it so quickly. Alice came rushing over to me, when she saw the smitten look on my face; she asked, "Is that the one, Bella?" I told her, "Yes, I'm going to try it on." I headed to the other end of the shop and entered one of the dressing room, Alice followed me inside. When I turned around for Alice to tell me how it look, she had her back to me because she didn't want to see me in my undergarments. I cleared my throat and she quickly turned around to look at me, she said as looked at me from head to toe, "You look beautiful, Bella." I replied as my cheeks turned beat red, "Thanks, Alice; I'm definitely going to get this dress."

About a minute later I was dressed in my regular clothes again, Alice carefully took the dress from me and carried it out of the dressing room. The four of us began looking for the right pair of heels to go with the dress, I made it perfectly clear that I wasn't going to wear any six inch heels. Alice denied a couple pairs of heels they showed her and couldn't find anything I liked. When Alice squealed the three of us gave her a strange look, she was holding a pair of three inch heels that were white and had fake diamonds inbedded at the tip of the toe area. She had me try them on and I couldn't deny the fact they would be perfect for the wedding, I agreed to get them. We headed up to the counter and Alice pulled out a credit card to pay for the dress and shoes, then we loaded into the car and took off towards the Cullen's home.
