Chapter Seventeen (Success or Failure?)

Bella's POV

Later that night I waited for Edward to come back from hunting, I knew from the stories the Cullen's told me that their mates got very lustful after drinking blood. If there was anytime to get Edward to change his mind, it would after he had fed. I made sure I had one of those contraceptives in my hand, if he definitely changed his mind I would want him to wear protection. He had already been gone for two hours, I kept wondering how much longer he would be outside hunting. I had put on a skimpy black night gown on with nothing else underneath, I just wondered how he was going to react when he saw me the way I was. I literally prayed for him to be lustful, I wanted him more than anything right now. I knew I should have him turn his cell-phone off, so Alice couldn't interrupt us like she did couple months ago and I wasn't too happy with her about that either.

Edward appeared through the window fifteen minutes, he froze where he stood when he saw me and his eyes turned black with lust. I sat on bed with my legs spread apart just a little bit, I smiled at him tenderly as looked me over from head to toe. Then he lunged at me and fell onto my back as Edward landed on top of me, he immediately started kissing me passionately on the lips. A few minutes later he moved his lips off of mine and proceeded to trail kisses down my neck to my shoulders, I began to unbutton his shirt and almost ripped it off of him. I thought to myself, "Vampires are definitely lustful after hunting." His hands began massaging my upper thighs, which caused me to moan softly. He told me, "I want you right now, Bella." I whispered, "Then take me Edward, I'm all yours."

My words had sparked something inside him, he got off the bed and took off the rest of his clothes. I just could stop staring at him, at least I didn't squeal or just plain looked away when he took off his boxers leaving him completely nude. I handed him the contraceptive and he took it, he asked me, "What is this?" I said with a smug look, "A condom." He stated, "Vampires can't have babies, Bella." I responded, "Male vampires can't have babies with female vampires because their bodies can't change." He said, "I know that, but...." I interrupted by asking, "Do you know of any male vampires that have had sex with female humans before?" He replied, "We'll, no." Then I told him, "You don't know for sure if you can get me pregnant or not, so put it on and rock my world." He replied alluring, "Okay, my love," which made me want him more than ever before....

ONE HOUR LATER

Edward had left me totally breathless and also a little pain because it was my first time, I definitely wasn't going to tell him about pain or he probably wouldn't make love to me until I was a vampire like him. Edward asked me, "How was it for you, Bella?" I murmured, "You were amazing. How was it for you?" He replied, "You were terriffic, but I wished we would of save the first time for the honeymoon." I informed him, "You're too old fanished." He said with a grin, "I know." I rolled my eyes at him and placed a kiss on his lips, then I told him, "I knew the best time to get you to make love to me was after you hunted, I heard vampire can get very lustful after hunting." He groaned and said, "My siblings are going to pay for telling you that." I whispered, "What about Alice for not calling you to interrupt us like last time?" He told me, "Well, my phone has been on silent, she probably did call me and she's probably mad at us now." I told him sharply, "I don't give a crap if Alice is going to be mad at us or not."

Edward suddenly said, "We could probably make her happier if we let her plan the wedding." I told him as I groaned, "Please don't mention that." He asked, "Do you mean the wedding or Alice planning it?" I narrowed my eyes at him and said, "You know the answer to that you smart ass." He started laughing at me and said, "Alice would have a field day with it, but I'll the decision up to you." I sighed and said, "Okay, I'll probably end up giving into her anyway." He informed me, "She won't stop pestering you until you let her." I yawned and said, "You wore me out Edward, I need to get some sleep." He responded, "Okay Bella, I'll hold you in my arms while you sleep." Then Edward pulled me on top of him and wrapped his arms around me, I placed a kiss to the crook of his neck and rested my head on his shoulder. Edward began humming my lullaby as I closed my eyes, I fell asleep within a few minutes.

Edward's POV

I watched Bella as she slept through the night and couldn't stop myself from running my hands over her delightful body. She moaned every-time I touch her, I couldn't help but smile every-time I got that reaction out of her. Bella murmur my name and that she loved me every hour in her sleep. I placed a kiss on her forehead every-time she said that, it felt like she revealed her true feelings in her sleep. Bella was the suffer in silence type of person, if she hadn't kept a journal when she had been suicidal I would have known what she was really feeling.

Bella woke up just a little after six o'clock in the morning, she smiled at me and pressed a kiss to my lips. When she tried to pull away I pulled her in for another kiss, I kissed her frantically and she just loved. She pulled away a few minutes later and asked, "How about we go take a shower together?" I told her with a smirk, "All you had to do was ask?" She pulled me off the bed and lead me into the bathroom, let's just say we both enjoyed showering together.

Ten minutes later we headed back into the bedroom to get dressed for the day, I just couldn't help but watch Bella as she got dressed. She caught me staring and gave me a smug look, she knew I had been watching the whole time. I told her, "Your mother is cooking breakfast, it will be ready in a few minutes." I placed around her waist and lead her out of the bedroom, then we headed down the stairs to the kitchen. Bella kissed me softly on the lips and went to sit down, she screeched out as she sat down, "Ouch!"

I instantly rushed over to her side and asked, "Are you okay, Bella?" She replied, "Yes, I'm fine Edward, I'm just very sore." Bella's mother asked her, "Did you succeed last night, Bella?" Bella responded, "What do you think? I'm sore." Renee stated, "It's always painful for the woman the first time, even if it's with a human." Her mother said that just to say it wasn't my fault Bella had become sore, but I didn't know if I could make love until she...I couldn't even think about that. 

Bella spoke, "You will not be with holding from me Edward, if you think you are you have another thing come." Phil had been taking a sip of his coffee and spit out when Bella said that, Renee started laughing at him because of his reaction. I responded, "Well, we won't do it right after I've been hunting because it's harder for me to control myself." Bella replied, "Deal," then she pressed a kiss to my lips. It was as if Bella could read my mind, but she probably could read me like an open book just like I could do with her.
