 *Recap*

“Kid, you ok?” My captor asks. I still couldn’t move, and didn’t have the energy to speak either. He sighs before picking me up, and I feel the chakra bracelets sliding off my wrist. “If the bracelets were too much, you should have told me, kid. I’m not trying to kill ya. I’m not into that kind of thing.” He says carrying me bridle style, as I slowly drift in and out of consciousness. “Just rest, and I’ll carry you for a while.” Was the last thing I heard before completely passing out.

*Ichiro’s Pov*

Don’t you worry Mizuki I’m on my way. I think jumping tree to tree leading a huge group of ninja to where she is. Hopefully we’ll make it there before it’s to late.

“Please be okay.” I whisper sadly with worry eating away at my insides.

*Mizuki's Pov*

I wake up to my body gently swaying as someone carries me. From the feeling of the rocking it was apparent that they were running. My groggy mind still hadn’t come up with an explanation as to why I was being carried in someone’s arms in the first place. Why wasn’t I home in bed? Something isn’t right here. I feel like I’m forgetting something really important, but I just can’t quite put my finger on it.

I groan feeling a slight sting on my wrist as I lift my hand to rub the sleepiness out of my eyes. Why does my wrist hurt? This situation seemed to get odder and odder. Someone’s chuckle causes my eyes to snap open, and my icy glare to land on my captor. It all came back at once causing me to groan this time in irritation. ‘So it wasn’t a dream.’ I think sadly before my captor speaks up. “So the dead finally decides to rise.” He says with a grin. What does he mean by that? Last time I checked I’m not dead, am I?

“You were out for so long, I was starting to wonder.” He says, looking forward as he continues to run. So that’s what he meant.  At least I’m not dead. That would just be the icing on the cake, although my luck always seems to be against me. I wonder what I did to always end up in the worst situations. Maybe I killed someone in a past life. My captor’s annoyingly deep voice interrupts my musings, and I turn to face him with another glare. He seems to have a way with getting under my skin.

“I never asked before, but what’s your name. I’m tired of referring to you as kid or princess.” He says looking back down at me. So now he wants to have a casual conversation? I think annoyed, as I look around at my surroundings. We seemed to be in the middle of a forest with nothing but trees surrounding us. I watched as the tree’s blurred by as he ran. It kind of made me dizzy watching the trees past by so I looked back over at my captor. The awkward silence that followed his question still lingered in the air. Should I really answer him? I mean he kidnapped me, and he expects me to give him my name? Also shouldn’t he know the person’s name that he kidnapped, or does he just call everyone he meets princess? I’m starting to think this guy isn’t very bright.

“Isn’t it rude to ask ones name before stating your own.” I say snidely tired of talking to him. I just want to go home already. I’m really dreading meeting his lord. If he’s this weird how will his lord act? I really don’t want to know, I think as a cold shiver runs up my spine.

He chuckles once again looking ahead giving me a chance to study his features. He really was god like. How can anyone so god like be such a nuisance? Stupid fairy tales giving false pretenses, if he was a god then every childhood story I read as a child was a lie. But then again there were always the evil god’s. That would make much more sense. So maybe I was thinking of the wrong stories. He was an evil god bent on tormenting me, along with his stupid lord.
