*Recap*

“It seems that everyone hear is quite… quick tempered. This is going to be fun.” Anko grinned before walking back over to the fence. “Alright now I have something to give out to you all before you start your test. It’s just a standard consent form. You are all going to have to read over this form, and sign it before beginning the test.” She says pulling out a stack of papers from her jacket.

Naruto stared at her confused. “What for?” He asks making her grin. “Some of you may not come back from this test, and I have to get your consent to that risk. Otherwise it would be my responsibility.” She laughs causing everyone to give her odd looks.

I shake my head at her antics. She really was way too dramatic. She handed the papers to Naruto telling him to hand them out, before going into a long explanation about what we were going to be doing during the test. I really didn’t listen though.  I already knew what the test was for, and what trouble it was going to bring. The fear was strong enough that I felt like I was going to vomit, but I held it in. I had to be strong in order to protect my team.

I’m not going to let Orochimaru have Sasuke, or hurt my team if I can help it.

*End Recap*

I stood silently beside my team staring up at the gate that lead into the forest of death feeling fear twist around in my stomach. I had been trying to ignore the horrible feeling that has been with me since the beginning of the exams, but now as we stood in front of gate fourteen the fear was so great that I felt like I was drowning in it.

“Mizuki.” I heard a voice say beside me, but I didn’t answer feeling my vision tunnel. Something horrible was going to happen in there. I already knew about Orochimaru so what else could be giving me such a terrify feeling?

“Mizuki!” The voice spoke up once more as I felt my self being shaken, but I was too wrapped up in my fear, that I didn’t pay it any mind. I grabbed my head wanting the feelings to go away, but they just kept growing. I felt my breathing pick up, and my vision tunneled further. I had to find my other team as soon as we got in there. Something terrible was going to happen, and it involved my old team and I in some way or another.

A sharp pain in my cheek snapped me out of my fear just as quickly as I had succumbed to it. My vision slowly cleared, and I found a worried Ichiro staring at me with a concerned look on his face. His hands griped my shoulders somewhat painfully, and Aiko stood off to the side with a similar look on her face.

“Are you finally with us again?” He said looking into my eyes. I nodded slightly pulling my hands out of my hair and lowering them to my sides.

Ichiro let out a sigh before pulling away. He still stared at me though as if I was some scared animal which in a way I guess I kind of was. “What happened to make you so scared?” Ichiro asked in concern. I looked down at the ground lacing my fingers together in nervousness.

“I’m not really sure myself. I just have a feeling that something horrible is going to happen while we are in there.” I said feeling the fear still twisting inside me. “As soon as we get in there we need to find my old team. It has something to do with them.” I said shivering slightly. I felt arms rap around me, and I looked up to find Ichiro hugging me.

“Don’t worry we’ll find them, and make sure that everything goes okay, I promise.” He said determinedly. A small but shaky smile graced my lips as a hugged him back. “Thank you.” I whispered before pulling away.

Aiko walked over and gave me a hug as well which was quite shocking, but it made me feel better. “They’ll b-be okay.” She stuttered slightly, and smiled at me. I felt myself tear up before hugging her back tightly. “Thank you, guys. I really appreciate it.” I said feeling a little better. They nodded just as the gates slowly opened with a creak. I shivered in fear, but now felt determined to keep my family safe no matter what.
