Ch.3: I Want to Join You

  "Is she even the same girl? Her clothes changed while she fell through the sky." A voice rang through my head.
"Sure. She has red hair still!" Another voice started to become clearer.
"Is it even okay that you guys brought her here?" A voice said.
"She just saved a whole village from drowning. Of course it's okay." Another voice said.
"Well I hope she's okay. She looks like a sweet girl." A soft voice said.
"Well when you're in battle with her, she's not." A familiar voice mumbled.
My eyes fluttered open and I moaned in pain. My body felt like I was being held in wrap of tape or something. I looked around and at first I was completely unaware that I was in an unfamiliar place. My eyes widened when I realized it.
"W-where am I?!" My softer voice croaked.
"Whoa. Your voice changed." Meliodas stated.
"Hmm?" I looked at him then squealed, "Ah! A boy?!" I squeaked.
"Well that's unfortunate." Ban said.
"How did I get here?" I asked, gripping the blanket that was on top of me.
"Well after you stopped the huge wave from becoming a tsunami, we were coming to tell you that was impressive but you fainted and crashed into the earth." Meliodas said.
"Tsunami..." I muttered.
"So you still haven't given me a straight answer. Why were you trying to kill us?"
I sighed then looked up at them.
"You see, I need your guys' help. I've been searching the whole continent for information on you guys since I broke out of Baste prison five years ago-"
"Wait what? A little girl like you in prison? What the hell did you do to get put in that dump?" Ban asked.
"Would you like to know..." I shook my head, "Anyways, I heard that you guys have a bad relationship with Holy Knights at the moment."
"That's somewhat true." The giant girl said.
"I know exactly that, Diane, the serpent sin of envy. It's pretty easy for me to understand that rumors aren't the full truth. I get that it's true your relationship is bad with them, but I don't believe that bullshit about you trying to overthrow the Kingdom of Liones."
"You still haven't answer my question..." Ban muttered.
"Continue..." Meliodas elbowed Ban in the stomach.
"Well, over four hundred years ago the people of my kingdom were massacred out of nowhere. I have yet to believe that one of the Holy Knights were involved." I glared at nobody in particular then I looked up at each of them.
"I need your help to find that person. Eventually you guys will go into battle anyways and I could assist you. It's a win win. Plus... I'm kinda a big fan of you guys." I blushed a deep red.
"Aww that's cute!" Ban pinched my cheeks.
I slapped his hand away, glaring at him, and he laughed. It was quiet after that and we were all staring at Meliodas, waiting for an answer. The short boy walked up to me then got in my face. He studied me and when his eyes reached my breasts, his eyes widened. I wrapped my arms around my chest, self-conscious. He smirked and I raised my eyebrow.
"Sure, you can come with us." He smiled.
I sighed in relief.
"So... I've proved myself worthy?"
"Yup. I knew you were trying to tag along from the start and that that's what you meant by prove yourself. I wanted to see what you could do first so I barely tried. For some reason, I felt like a similar situation has happened before with you." He shrugged after a few seconds of thinking, "Anyways, you have to work if you're going to be with us! That means you have to wear this when you work." He brought a girl next to the bed.
We stared at each other, speechless. We had no idea what to say to each other. I glanced down at her clothes and my eyes widened. My face got red and I shook my head. I cleared my throat and looked at the girl with whitish hair to change the subject.
"Who's this? I haven't seen her on the wanted- oh wait yes I have! Your name is Elizabeth isn't it!" I smiled.
"I um... I uh..." Her soft voice spoke.
I giggled.
"It's actually Princess Elizabeth." Meliodas stated.
I looked at him then frowned. I just nodded with a straight face. I didn't even want to be reminded of my days as one. I looked at her and she seemed to still be speechless. I shook my original thoughts off of my mind then giggled.
"It's fine. I don't bite. I was only trying to be a bad ass to them to tag along." I smirked.
"So you're not really bad ass?" Ban asked.
I shrugged.
"Well, it's nice to meet you too, miss. What would you like me to call you?" Elizabeth asked, politely.
"Well when I'm like this with glasses, I'm Gemminia. When I'm trying to be a bad ass, I'm Gem. Either name works." I smiled.
She smiled back.
"Hey, aren't you forgetting someone?" A voice said.
I looked towards the source of the voice and my eyes twinkled. I smiled big and I clapped my hands excitedly.
"Oh my goodness! It's a talking pig! Pigs are so cute! You're so cute!" I talked fast because of my excitement.
"I'm Hawk!" He said.
"It's nice to meet you, Hawk." I smiled, sweetly.
"You're so different off the battlefield." Diane stated.
"Yeah. That's kinda the point. I want people to see more of this side. But... People tend to see only my other side. It's not the best but when I come across someone who takes the time to see this side, they're pretty special to me." I smiled, giggling.
"Shouldn't we catch her up with our journey now, Captain?" I heard King ask.
"Yeah."
After about half an hour of updating me on how everyone got there, I was finally up to date.
"So where are you heading to now?" I asked.
"Well we're not sure. We have no idea about the whereabouts of Gowther, Merlin and Escanor. But, what we need to do is find food! So Ban, King, let's go hunt for food!" Meliodas pulled them outside.
I laughed as King started to complain and Ban was completely excited. I looked down at my blanket and looked at it in confusion.
"What's the matter, Gemminia?" Hawk asked.
"Is something wrong?" Elizabeth asked.
"No... It's just... I feel like I've met them before..."
