Ch.15: Hendrickson

  None of the sins knew I was awake yet. I bet you, they didn't even know I was there. I raised my hands in front of me making a gust of wind flow past everyone. Meliodas and the other looked back in my direction and their eyes widened.
"Stay back, Gem!" King yelled.
"No." I stated.
His eyes widened.
"I'm not gonna lose you again, Gem." He almost whispered.
"If you don't want to lose me, then let me fight too." I stared at him seriously.
We locked eyes for the longest time.
"I've had enough of this reunion." The monster guy rose his hand and aimed directly at me.
King's eyes widened and he flew towards me. Once he gripped onto me, I put up a water shield which broke almost right away, making us tumble backwards. Luckily, it didn't hit us, whatever he threw at us. I landed on top of him and he groaned.
"Sorry I didn't time that right." I scratched the back of my neck, laughing nervously.
"I was supposed to save the princess not the other way around." He pouted.
I giggled and the guy tried to strike me again. I flew us up, holding his hand. We get out of the way just in time.
"So who's this jerk bag?" I asked, staring down at the guy with a frown.
"That's Hendrickson. He's, well I'm not sure if he still is, the head master of the Holy Knights. He was the one who was controlling the demon blood in the new generation. Also..." He looked at me with a sad expression, "he influenced Calder to do what he did."
My eyes widened and I grit my teeth as I pulled at my hair. I killed my brother when he did nothing wrong. I thought of what he said:
Out of every family member, you really think I'd have the guts to kill P-Prideaux?
I couldn't believe I did that to my precious brother... I balled my fists. Now I DEFIANTLY needed to kill this Hendrickson guy. I looked to see Meliodas and the others were still fighting him. King floated down fast and used chastiefol in his fourth form.
I just stared at everyone fighting against this guy. Even Holy Knights were trying to defeat this guy. Everyone I cared about was fighting, risking their lives. My eyes widened as I remembered my ruined city. I gasped and shook my head violently. Oh hell no. This was not going to happen again. I flew at top speed towards this guy. I gripped his shoulders and dragged this guy through the earth. He tried pushing me off but I gripped his shoulders even tighter. He tried to kick me off but I front flipped and brought him over my head, slamming him into the earth again.
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO MY BROTHER YOU BASTARD?!" I screamed at him as I kept throwing him into the earth.
Eventually he got a good grip on me and threw me into the wall, but I never felt the impact. I opened one eye to see Ban smirking at me.
"Don't try killing someone without your team." He states.
I hugged him tight and he jumped onto the ground. I looked around and I saw all five sins except Gowther.
"Hey where's Gowther?" I asked, getting out of Ban's arms.
He pointed to the ground and I saw his head clean off. My eyes widened. Oh shit. I covered my mouth and gagged.
"Gowther. I need you to tell everyone." I heard Meliodas say.
Gowther's body stood up and I held onto Ban's body with wide eyes as I screamed. Gowther grabbed his head and put it back on his body. He reached for his glasses and slipped them on them made this weird pose. I smiled a bit. It brought up my mood a bit.
"Roger." He tapped his head and multiple lightning bolts shot through everyone's necks except Hendrickson's.
My eyes widened at the idea Meliodas thought of. Everyone looked at him with a worried look.
"Are you sure about this?" I asked, grabbing his hand and squeezing it.
He smiled at me then nodded.
"Don't worry about me." He grinned with a cheeky smile.
"Fine..." I let go of him then floated to King.
He squeezed my shoulder and I looked at him, worriedly. Meliodas fought this guy one on one. One by one, the sins hit both Meliodas and Hendrickson with their powers. Between the two, Meliodas was the only one who got hurt. King did his attack and I gulped. I was next.
I floated a good distance from them and stared down at the two with a serious expression.
"Gemminia! Now!" He yelled.
"This is for making me kill my brother!" I screamed at Hendrickson, "Hell Blizzard!"
I shot a large wind of sharp ice and extreme coldness at him. Meliodas winced but stuck through it. Ban finished off and with a serious face he watched Meliodas.
"Is that enough?" Ban asked.
"Yup." Meliodas smirked.
Before anything happened, Hendrickson shot a gust of wind at me specifically. I wasn't expecting it so I got thrown into the earth wall. I banged my head against it and my head throbbed. I hit it once already today so I bet you I had a concussion. My vision blurred and I started coughing up blood but I could see the outlines of everyone. King floated to me as a bright light went off. He covered my body with his as a loud boom sound went off and dust shot around. I could feel his heart beat and it was going really fast. I panted and stared up at the boy in front of me. I stared at his facial features and tried to remember every single detail about it. I never want to forget meeting him ever again.
Once the dust cleared, we saw Meliodas there. He was beaten up and he tried to keep a smile plastered on his face but he collapsed. Elizabeth, who was now awake, ran up to him and hugged him. I looked at King and he looked at me. We stared at each other for a while. Eventually my eyes started to water. He looked at me worried and confused. I hugged him tightly and he tensed. Almost immediately, he relaxed.
"I missed you. I missed all we've been through. I missed being able to be this close to you." I sniffed.
"I missed you too..." He whispered, burying his face in my neck.
I pulled away after a few seconds and immediately kissed him. He was surprised at first but he kissed back. His arms were wrapped around my waist and my hands cupped his cheeks. Our lips moved in sync and it felt like the first we kissed, fireworks exploding. We pulled away and we smiled at each other really big. I don't think you'd ever see two people smile so big at each other. I placed my forehead on his but my head started throbbing again. I grabbed the back of my head and King turned my head lightly. His eyes widened and he picked me up bridal style.
"Let's take care of that." He kissed my forehead as we headed towards the others.
