Ch.12: Farewell to Those with Bad Intentions

  A/N: I feel so dumb. Helbram's hair is like a blondish-green and I've been spelling chastiefol wrong... So I changed it lol. 

I stood up and looked at my brother. He smirked at me and I just stared at him with an expressionless face. After what happened the other day with him, all my emotions for him were scattered.
"Calder... What a pleasant surprise." I smirked, clapping the dust off my hands.
"Indeed it is. Did you really think killing me would be that easy?" He laughed.
"You're hilarious. I didn't intend to kill you. I merely was trying to prove a point." I smiled, mischievously.
"Prove what, my dear sister?" He put his hands on his head.
"Father liked me better." I smirked.
He balled his fists then shot a piece of metal at me. I avoided it by front punching off the building onto the ground below. I landed on my feet but had to avoid more metal being thrown so I did and round-off back whip. I looked up at him and smirked.
"So that's your main power... That's pretty awesome." I smiled.
"I know. Wait why are you trying to distract me?!" His face boiled.
I laughed.
"Cause it's fun teasing you."
He raised his hand then slashed his arm across the air. My sword blocked his immediately and I tilted my head at him, raising an eyebrow.
"You don't learn, do you?" I asked.
He got angrier and our swords kept clashing. I grabbed my bow and aimed at him.
"Explosive arrow!" I shot multiple at him.
Every time he moved even slightly, my arrow was already shooting at him. He barely had time to recover from each arrow being shot at him. He looked at me when I finally stopped shooting. He groaned and pointed three fingers at him. I did a turn then stopped his sword with my bow.
"My bow is made of one of the strongest materials. It's my favorite weapon. You won't break it." I whispered in his ear with a smirk.
He tried shooting metal triangles at me that were kind of like ninja stars and I stared at him with a blank face, my bow deflecting all the attacks. I swung the bow back around me then slowly walked up to my brother. He stared at me, panting. As soon as we were inches from each other's faces, I flicked him in the forehead, sending him flying into the nearest building's wall. I slowly walked over to his slightly injured body then bent down to look at him in the eyes.
"So brother... I've come up with a theory." I smiled at him with closed eyes then grabbed him by the shirt and threw him all the way across to another street.
I flew over to the spot to see him just standing up. I rolled my eyes then held my fingers in a gun form at him, making my sword come to his neck.
"I've thought long and hard about something." I snickered, "and you're gonna love what I've come up with."
"Metal bender." He balled his hand in front of him and I saw my sword deform.
I sighed.
"That's too bad. I liked that sword." I shrugged then looked at my brother seriously.
I speed ran up to him then pinned him to a building. I smirked at him.
"I know who destroyed our family."
His eyes widened.
"It was you, wasn't it?" I stared at him.
He tried to choke me but I kicked him in the stomach, sending him through that wall.
"Icy storm!" I floated in the air then shot the ice crystals at him.
He brought up a large piece of metal and used it as a shield. He tossed the metal piece at me and I simply pushed it aside. He stomped then floated at my level.
"After thinking long and hard about it, I realized it was you who did it. A big clue was you coming to that village. Also, being ordered to kill me?" I laughed, "That was a DEAD giveaway!"
"Hail!" He shouted and ice started to hit me hard.
I winced a bit, blocking my face. I waved my arms in a circle, slowly, then pushed away all the ice, making it disappear. I panted then looked at my brother.
"Whirlpool." I glared at him.
A whirlpool surrounded his body and he gasped. I held my arm out near the water tornado and as soon as he emerged from the water, I forcefully punched him to the ground. His body flew to the ground fast and hard. I floated to the ground then hovered over him.
"Which leads me to a question, dear Calder. Why did you take my memories? Huh? You could've taken the memories of the ruined city, but no. You could've taken the memories of my sin, but no. You took away the memories of the most important people in my life." I looked up at him with a deadly expression, "You took my memories of the sins. My happiness. Why is that, nii-chan?"
He glared at me. I haven't used nii-chan in forever. I smirked. He used to always give up after I said that. Guess it still works.
"I took them because of exactly what you know now. That I killed our kingdom." He stared at me.
"And as me being your sister, I'm asking why."
"To become king of course." He smiled mischievously.
I grabbed him by the collar then drop kicked him into the air like a soccer ball.
"You asshole! You killed mother!" I punched him, "father!" Punch, "Kano!" Slap, "Varan!" Punch, "Mayim!" Kick, "Anahita!" Bonk, "And... AND PRIDEAUX!" I screamed that last part and kicked him in the chest. {A/N: It's pronounced pri-dough}
He flew back all the way across the city and I flew after him immediately. I grabbed his neck and started to choke him.
"YOU KILLED THE ONLY ONE WHO TRULY CARED ABOUT US TWO, CALDER! The one who gave us hope that we'd be at the top of the royal family one day." Tears streamed down my face as I gripped harder at his neck.
"S-she's still alive!" He said as he tried to breathe.
"You're lying!" I threw him to the ground.
I landed on his chest, glaring at him.
"Stop telling me more and more lies, Calder. That's all you've ever done. And that's all you're good at." I glared at him.
"I'm not lying this time. Out of every family member, you really think I'd have the guts to kill P-Prideaux." His voice cracked but no tears were shown.
I backed away with wide eyes. I hiccupped as I fell to my knees. That can't be. She's dead. They're all dead! He really wants me to be weakened and kill me, doesn't he? I looked up at him and I knew by the look on his face that he won.
"Too bad you're still weakened by her... Honestly, Gemmy. You don't learn either, do you? Father did a horrible job then didn't he?"
"After you were born, he gave up on boys because he knew you'd fail him." I spat back.
"He gave up on kids in general after you were born!"
"He stopped because he knew I'd be the one to stop your foolishness! I can't believe you killed them just because you wanted the throne. I'm nothing to you. I had no chance at the throne since you're older! So why do you want ME dead?" I held my heart.
"You're the last thing that's holding me back. You're nothing but a useless pawn."
"This isn't a game, Calder." I glared.
"Oh, but it has been from the start."
"You're a coward."
A forceful wind knocked me into a cement wall. I hit my head hard and my hand shakily touched it to feel blood coming out.
"How are you the cheetah sin when you're slow to things?" He chuckled.
My eyes widened as I realized something. Slow to things... I slowly stood up then reached my hand into my quiver. I slowly took out my father's trident. Calder stared at me with wide eyes.
"How did you retrieve it back to its originally form?! I tried for centuries!" He said surprised.
"Father knew..." I mumbled, staring at the ground.
"Father knew? What are you talking about?!" He shouted.
"I would kill you." I stared at him, pointing the trident at him.
"Father didn't have the power to see the future."
"Father had secrets too, my darling brother." The trident started to glow and floated into the air, slowly.
"You can't kill me, nobody has done it and last time you tried, your memories were taken!" He smirked.
I smiled with closed eyes.
"I don't need memories to know how to kill you. Goodbye, nii-chan." I frowned, "Tsunami." I muttered then opened my eyes.
I swooped the trident in a U-shape and a bunch a water came rushing out of nowhere through the city, towards him. I pointed the trident at his feet and his feet became locked into the earth. He tried to move but couldn't. Panic crossed his face as I continued to stare at him. He looked at me with a guilty face and he whispered my actual name before he was engulfed with a thirty foot wave. I threw the trident at him, screaming as the whole section we were at exploded and I fainted. Again...
