  Gemminia's POV
I woke up to the sun hitting my eyes. I blinked my red colored eyes open. When my vision cleared I looked to see King asleep on chastiefol next to me. I smiled. He looked so cute asleep! I sat up and felt my hand locked with something. I looked down to see my hand was intertwined with King's. My eyes widened and I tried to take my hand out of his but his grip on my hand was tight. I sighed then carefully lifted his fingers off of mine. I exhaled when my hand was out, but all of a sudden I got pulled down onto chastiefol. My eyes widened and my heart beat fastened. I looked at King to see my face only inches away from his. I felt my face burn up.
"Gemminia..." He smiled in his sleep and cuddled more into me.
I squeaked and stared at him with a cherry red face. His honey colored eyes [A/N:I didn't know how to describe his eye color lol sorry] blinked open and he looked at me confused for a second. Realization hit him and he screamed and fell off chastiefol. I face palmed mentally. I sighed then looked at King on the floor.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"Y-yes... W-what were you doing on chastiefol with m-me?" His eyes were wide.
"Actually... You pulled me down onto chastiefol with you." I blushed and played with the bottom pieces of my hair.
"Oh my- I'm so sorry!" His face got really red.
I laughed softly.
"It's okay. Chastiefol is actually really soft." I smiled.
He sighed in relief. He stood up then looked out the window. I looked in the direction he was looking in and my smile turned into a frown. Diane was sound asleep on the ground still. I loved Diane like a sister but King liked her and that just hurt me. I got off chastiefol and walked towards the door.
"I'm going to get breakfast." I muttered, grabbing my backpack that was next to the door.
I went down the stairs and smelled food almost right away. Hmm... Meliodas is cooking. I groaned. I went behind the bar where he was to see him cooking. I was correct then.
"Morning, Gem! Hungry?" He motioned to the dish he was making.
"Not with you as the cook. Why don't... I make breakfast?" I looked at him.
"Huh?"
I booty bumped him and he stumbled a bit. I got to work right away. I started mixing spices into what Meliodas already made so that I didn't waste the food. I also made a side of eggs and bread. Meliodas watched me in awe and later Hawk joined.
"You better not be cooking up some bacon or something, Gemminia, because you know what's coming!" Hawk warned.
I smirked.
"Don't worry... I won't feed it to you then." I winked at Hawk.
Hawk squealed and started to sweat. I laughed and continued to cook up breakfast for everyone. Eventually, I finished and everyone was in the room by then. Except Diane, of course. She looked through the window though.
"Okay! Breakfast is served!" I smiled and set a plate for everyone.
I went to the window and handed Diane her plate. She smiled at me.
"Thanks so much, Gem! It smells delicious!" She giggled then took a bite.
I looked at everyone and saw they were scoffing down the food. I covered my mouth at the sight, trying not to laugh.
"Mm! This is so good!"
"Almost better than Ban's cooking!"
"You got that right!"
"Why didn't you tell us you could cook earlier?!"
At this point, I was laughing my head off. They all stared at me, scared now as if I had poisoned it or something.
"What did you do to the food?" Ban asked, cautiously.
I smiled with crossed arms.
"Nothing..."
They sighed in relief.
"But I did spit into it."
Their eyes widened and I started laughing again.
"I'm just kidding!" I said through breaths.
"You knucklehead!" Ban came up to me and put me in a choke hold.
I flipped him over with a straight face and pushed up my glasses. I raised an eyebrow at him.
"Appreciate it because Meliodas almost made breakfast." I poked his nose on the ground.
He stood up and pushed me lightly and I smiled. Our relationship is so weird. After an hour or so, we got back on the road again and we all sat around the tavern bored. I ate once everyone else was finished and by now I was reading again.
"So does anyone have a clue on where the next sin might be or where we're supposed to go next?" Ban asked.
"Any chance you might have a lead on where the next sin might be?" King asked Meliodas, his head in his arms on the table.
"Escanor and Merlin." Gowther stated.
"First thing I'm gonna do is break into the capital and get my sword back." Meliodas said seriously.
"What are you talking about? You mean that dragon hilt you love?" Ban asked.
"I'm not going anywhere without it." Meliodas said then slammed his fists on the table happily, "Okay, now who's coming with me?!"
"Fun as that sounds, think I'll pass." Ban said with his hands behind his head.
"Dido." I waved from my seat as I read my book.
"Besides it's your own fault you lost it in the first place." King pointed out.
"He has a point." Gowther agreed.
Meliodas didn't say anything for a moment until he put his face under Elizabeth's skirt.
"I'm so sad." He pouted.
I rolled my eyes at him and smiled. He's so gross sometimes. Elizabeth patted his head and comforted him.
"Captain!" Diane burst through the window, angrily.
I almost laughed my head off. I may be jealous of her but I now get that she is jealous of Elizabeth... Funny huh? Meliodas started talking about how his sword was part of a legend but I knew that already. I mean I read books! Then they started talking about the Holy Knights and how they think a guy named Dreyfus was up to bringing back the demon race. I looked up when Diane asked Meliodas if they broke the seal already to bring the demons back. Just then, Hawk started groaning and sweating.
"It's a sign! I think I'm getting a sign!" Hawk started squealing.
"That you gotta poop?" Ban asked, disgusted.
"The seal is about to be broken!" Hawk walked towards the door slowly.
I stood up and slowly walked towards him, closing my book.
"Hawk? Are you okay?" Elizabeth went to comfort Hawk.
"Hang on!" He squealed, "I get why those guys are going after the sword. But I don't understand what they wanted with Elizabeth!" Hawk groaned, sweating even more.
My eyes widened and I stared at Elizabeth, shocked and confused.
"It's simple." A girl with a reddish dress and an armored face appeared behind Elizabeth.
I brought out my sword while Elizabeth gasped in surprise.
"She's the last key to breaking the seal." The girl continued.
"Oh crap! Get away from her! Elizabeth!" Meliodas went to save her.
"Don't!" I yelled at the lady.
I grabbed onto Elizabeth's arm just as we disappeared from the tavern, making me drop my sword. Right away, I blacked out.
