Ch.16: See You Soon

  After patching up my head wounds, we went back to the others. Ban immediately brought me into a tight embrace and cried.
"Gemminia! I can't believe how close we were! I missed you!" He balled.
I giggled and wrapped an arm around him. I looked over at Gowther. He was staring at me with no expression as usual.
"I told you... I knew I knew you before." He stated.
I smiled and hugged him tightly, giggling. He patted my head. I felt someone run into me and we tumbled a bit. Once we stopped rolling, I blinked my eyes to see a little blonde guy staring at me with the cheesiest smile. I smirked at Meliodas hovering over me. We laughed and I hugged him. Man, did I miss everyone.
"Hey what about me?" Diane picked me up from the ground.
I laughed and hugged her huge hands. She brought me up to her face and lightly rubbed me against her cheek playfully. I giggled but I got pulled to the ground with some type of magic. I rolled my eyes with a smirk. I knew who this was.
"Merlin, I should've known." I turned to her with crossed arms.
"Well don't just stand there. Come." She motioned to me.
I smiled and hugged her lightly. She lightly hugged me back. I looked around and my eyebrows scrunched.
"Where's Hawk?" I asked.
"Right here, Gemminia! Are you going blind?" I heard a small squeaky voice say.
I looked at Merlin's shoulder to see a mini pig staring back at me. My eyes widened and I stared at him with adoration.
"Aww you're so cute!" I squealed.
An arm snaked around my waist and pulled me back. I looked surprised when the person pulled me to their chest and my back was against their chest. Warm breath was felt against my neck and I shivered.
"Not as cute as you." King seductively whispered in my ear, loud enough for only me to hear.
My face heated up and I pushed him away, lightly.
"Don't tease me like that!" I pouted.
He chuckled and I wrapped my arms around his neck. Someone cleared their throat and we all looked over to see the person was the king. I lowered my arms and King wrapped his arms around my waist, protectively.
"Gemminia, may I have a word with you in private?" He asked.
I looked at King and he stared at me with worry. I smiled lightly and touched his cheek. He squeezed my hand and I let go.
"I'll be fine." I smiled.
He nodded and I walked towards the king with no expression. We didn't go far from the others. They could all see still but it was out of earshot for them. I looked at the king and he smiled.
"We missed you here. I'm glad you got your memories back." He said.
I looked at me feet, silent. He sighed.
"I'm sorry about your brother."
I looked up at him. He knew?
"I also know about your sister."
My eyes widened. My heart beat faster. My sister...?
"Prideaux. I know where she is." He handed me a slip of paper, "This is from your brother. I found it in his quarters."
With that he walked away. I stared at the paper, shaking. I slowly opened the folded paper and scanned it. My eyes widened and I dropped the paper as I speed flew out of the kingdom. I flew faster than I had in my entire life. As soon as I got to the place he said in the note, I broke down the cement wall. A bunch of guards turned towards me with their weapons at ready. I glared at them and their eyes widened. They bowed down to me and my breath caught in my throat. What's going on? I floated to the ground and looked around. Every guard there nodded towards me and pointed down the hall. I inhaled then put on a determined face. I speed ran down the hall and all the turns he said.
When I came to the door, I stared at it for a long time. Eventually, I got the courage to put my hand on the door. I closed my eyes and channeled my water powers to cover the whole door. Once it created the symbol of Atlantis, it opened. My heart pounded as I entered the room. I walked down a narrow hallway and came to a glass wall. On the other side of the wall, I saw my sister. I immediately punched the glass, making it shatter everywhere. I stared at her pale body with no expression. I stepped through the broken glass and walked up to her. I brought my hand to her cheek and felt her body was cold. I sighed. The monitor above her was ticking down and I saw she only had two minutes left. I put my hand on her chest and my hand melted into her chest. I closed my eyes then gripped her heart, letting water back in her system. Her body twitched and I just stood still.
After a minute, her eyes shot open. I took my hand of her chest and stared at her. Her eyes turned to me and glared.
"You bi-" I slapped her.
She held her cheek for a second then looked at me with wide eyes.
"G-Gemminia?" Her eyes watered.
"Prideaux." I sighed.
She threw her arms around my neck and I smiled. I patted her hair as she cried.
"I was stuck in a world for so long... I saw everyone... They said they were all dead." She balled, "But I didn't see you or Calder. So I had hope." She pulled away.
"Let's get out of here." She said seriously.
"Of course." I smiled, "There's so much I need to tell you."
-Time Skip-
"Whoa! Gemmy has a boyfriend?! That's surprising!" She giggled.
"That's mean!" I pouted, pushing her lightly.
She laughed.
"I'm just kidding! But seriously, is he cute?"
"Well... yeah." I blushed.
"Aww! Gemmy is in love!" She said with adoration.
"Shut up!" My face got more red.
"I can't wait to meet him!" She squealed.
I stopped. She tilted her head confused then stopped too, looking back at me.
"What's wrong?" She asked.
"You know you've been in that coma state for four centuries?" I said, looking down.
"That long?" She blinked.
I nodded. She was silent for a long time but I looked up at her, breaking the silence.
"I've been thinking... Let's go travel the world. I'll show you places since you've been gone so long... Starting with... Starting with the ruins..." I muttered the last part.
She smiled at me then grabbed my hands. I looked up at her confused and she sighed.
"I'd love that."
I smiled softly then floated into the air. Her eyes widened and she gripped onto my arm tightly. I laughed.
"Let's go meet everyone." I smiled then sped off.
-Two days later-
"Let's go get Elizabeth before we head off." Meliodas suggested before we set off for Camelot.
We all nodded and we rode on Hawk's mom's back to the castle. Meliodas got on a ladder and went to the window of the castle. Once he succeeded he brought her up and we all greeted her happily.
"So we're headed to Camelot now?" King asked.
"Yup! That's where we'll get a head start on Escanor." Meliodas smiled.
"I'm not coming." Ban said then swung a bag over his shoulder.
"Where are you going?"
"Probably travel the world." He jumped off Hawk's mom's back.
"Actually guys, Prideaux and I are going to travel too." I smiled.
King looked like he was debating on who to stop first: Ban or me. He decided me first.
"Gemminia! You can't leave me!" He pouted.
"Sorry King, but I haven't seen my sister in four hundred years. I'll be gone only for a little. Don't worry, if anything comes up I'll come help you guys get out of your mess." I smirked.
He hugged me tightly and I hugged back.
"Why don't I come along then?" He kissed my nose and I pouted.
"Oh c'mon you can do better than tha-"
He cuts me off by kissing my lips. I smiled in the kiss then kissed back. It was a passionate yet gentle kiss and I loved every second of it. Well every second that it lasted because of course someone interrupted it.
"As much as this is cute, it's also gross." Prideaux scrunched her nose.
I made a gust of wind mess up her hair. She squealed and quickly tried to fix her hair. I smirked.
"Love you!" I smiled with closed eyes, innocently.
She rolled her eyes as she tried to untangle it. I elbowed King and pointed to Ban who was walking away far already. His eyes widened and he flew after him yelling for him to come back. I laughed and Merlin came up to me.
"I just came and you're leaving? I thought you'd want to stay with me here." She smirked.
"Yeah, well I would if I didn't have my sister. As much I love you all, I also love my sister. She deserves to see things too." I looked at her seriously.
She nodded and patted my head.
"You did well."
I smiled cheekily at her. I looked at my sister to see her talking to Elizabeth. I sighed with a small smile. The two girls turned to me and I held my hand to Prideaux. She smiled and grabbed my hand. I floated into the air and we both turned to look at the others. They all smiled and waved, shouting goodbye. We said bye then floated towards King and Ban, who were yelling at each other. I floated over Ban and kissed his forehead. His eyes widened and I giggled.
"Bye Ban! We'll see you soon!" I intertwined my hand in King's and we flew off.
Ban waved from the ground and eventually we were out of eyeshot of everyone. I looked at King and he smiled at me.
"So where are we headed for first?" He asked.
I looked at Prideaux and she nodded. I turned to King with a smile and he raised an eyebrow.
"The ruins of the kingdom of Atlantis, our home."
