Nikki's pov
I woke up to a sudden bang on the door. I silently rose to not wake up Lori and Arwin. I then heard a howl that I quickly had reflexes towards. I quickly opened the door and let the howls into the room. I smiled remembering fond memories of me and some wolves. People thought they savage but all they wanted were to stop humans from hunting their kin.. Then Nakota gave me a sign to remember that I'll always be part of their pack. I slowly reached into my invisible cloak and got a smooth round necklace. I brought it into the moonlight as it exploded with colors of the Aurora Borealis. I smiled holding it up to the moon. I then felt something hard hot me on the head... Everything went black.

Jaxon's pov
Thump! Mari and I jump and quickly run outside. We quietly opened the door and looked around. All we noticed was that the girls room door was opened. I sneaked around to look around the corner. I peeked into the room and saw Lori and Arwin tied up with black tape over their mouths struggling to scream. I put my finger to my mouth as a sign to stay quiet. I look around the room trying to see where Nikki is but instead find her in 2 O'khasis gaurds hands. They picked her up and said "I wonder what The Fire wolf doing here. Hanging around these people..." one of the gaurds said. The other shook his head and said "That child of Hades and Nyx sure does bring bad luck to her peers. Bah!.of I were then I would have killed her by now!" I look back towards Mari but she had a stone cold face. Mari smirked and summoned her scythe and grabbed hold of it tightly. "So you would have killed me if you had the chance then Eh? So why didn't you kill me over at that place we saw each other? We're you to weak? Oh who am I kidding? Please~ nobody could defeat me so why don't you leave my friends and come after me?". The O'khasis gaurds stood stunned and put Nikki on the ground. They took out their swords and said "Come.at.me" Mari shook her head and said "Aww are the babies too scared to come get me themselves?". The other O'khasis gaurd snorted and came running Mari. Mari jumped and dodged the attack and lead the O'khasis gaurds out of the room. I ran in and untied everybody, just right when I walked towards Nikki she woke up startled and looked around. "W-WHAT happened?!"Nikki asked Lori then said "Long story short O'khasis gaurds tried to kidnap us now it's time to run!". Nikki nodded as Arwin seemed traumatized of what just happened. I looked at her and smiled, she stared at me but immediately looked away red. 'Arwin's weird..' I thought but then immediately pointed to the door to leave. We all then ran down the steps. The snow crunched umder our feet as we ran, it was harf tk sneak like that.I hoped Mari could find us. An idea popped in my mind. I know where we could hide out.. I guided everyone towards where I found Mari hugging the King. I hid where I was earlier and hid everyone else there. We seemed to blend in perfectly. "I'll go find Mari. Nikki do you think you can cover everyone with your invisible cloak?" Nikki nodded and soon spread her cloak around the girls. Arwin shivered as she put her arms around Lori for warmth. I looked around and ran to find Mari. The snow crunched and crunched until I almost slipped. I decided to walk instead.

Mari's pov
I smiled and kept jumping and dodging their attacks. It was chilly but the moon glowed brightly. The blood on my head was dry. I soon wasn't paying attention and one of them was able to knock my mask off. My smile faded and soon turned into anger. I slashed at the gaurds. "Ha so the rumors were true you demon " the gaurds.laughed as that anger turned into rage. I slashed one of the gaurds near his chest but not close enough to kill him. "Kill him.." "he deserves it.. remember all those good times with those villages. Blood.. gore..satisfaction.. we can get it back.." My eyes glowed as I slashed and blood splattered on me. I had a straight face on as if this was all right. Once I was done with them my senses returned as I turned to see Jaxon standing there.
