"I think you should aim a little to the left..." Says Ari as she finishes eating her pop-sickle.

"It's a dart game, I'm not good at darts..." I say as I roll my eyes and earn a laugh from her.

"Neither am I, so I don't know why you keep listening to me..." She says still laughing a little.

"I just trust you to much..." I say as I seat next to her on the couch.

"And since you trust me, you can tell me what happened yesterday night at the reunion/party thing and this afternoon when I left you at the classroom." She says smiling innocently.

We are currently at my house. We don't have to get to school early tomorrow because there'll be a soccer game. Yuppie! (note the sarcasm)

"Ari-" I say as she cuts me off.

"Don't Ari me... Just tell me what happened, with details..." She says and she scoops over to me, showing how interested she is of what I'm about to say.

"So, at the party I accidentally met with Charlie..." I say as I back away a little waiting for her to explode, but instead, she just motions me to continue.

"He was telling me that he wasn't going to let me go. That I couldn't leave him..." I stop for a minute while I think of what happened yesterday, Saturday Night.

"Then Calum showed up and-" I continue as my best friend finally explodes.

"As in Calum Hood the one you're crushing on, the one that danced with you, the one that came back, and now is trying to be your friend Calum Hood?" She asks getting higher on every word.

"Yes, that Calum Hood..." I say chuckling a little as she motions me to continue.

"He... um... he said that... that..." I completely forget how to talk and the touch of Ari's hands on my shoulders helps me find the right words to say. "He said the I was his girlfriend..."

She just stares at me quietly, and I continue. "Then he took me to the kitchen to get me a glass of water..." Lie... "... And when we were talking I asked him if he wasn't afraid that the paparazzi could see him, but he said he wasn't as long as he was with someone..."

"So... What happened next?" She asks, her hands now on her lap since I can talk properly.

"He came really close..." I say as I remember the event.

"Did you kiss??" Asks my best friend squealing a little, which is odd, 'cause I'm the one who squeals.

"No, no, no, no, no..." I say, and her smile fades. "He just said we should go back to the living room..."

"That's it?!" She asks disappointed.

"Yeah..." I still don't want to tell her the rest, I don't think I'm ready to tell anyone yet.

"Okay... How about what happened today?" She asks looking at me, curiosity and concern all over her face.

*Flashback*

"Okay class, you can leave, except for you Miss. Prescott..." Says Mrs. Sharell as she disconnects the speakers and waits for everyone to leave.

"How are you doing with your routine for the audition for the scholarships?" She asks tugging on Calum's sleeve before he leaves, making him turn around.

"I haven't work on that..." I say as I take my bag.

"Well, Calum can you just come here for a minute..." She says, and he follows. I don't like where this is going.

"I know you want these scholarships really badly... So, you and Calum will be working together, as a duet, and will make a routine for your audition..." She says smiling at both of us.

My response: stay there in shock without saying a word.

"I don't dance anymore." He says as he puts his hands inside his jean's pockets.

"Of course you do, it's just hidden somewhere inside you... So, choose the song and start to work." She says as she leaves, giving us the gift of silence it-self... and it has to be the awkward silence.

"You don't have to do this..." I say to break the silence, as I look at the boy who used to be my dancing partner.

"I don't dance anymore." He repeats. Is he like a robot or something today?

"I know..." I say as I look down to the floor and make my way out of the studio.

He then grabs my hand and pulls me back, making me fall into his chest. I stumble a little, but my hands hold his arms as I maintain my balance. I can feel his eyes making a hole through me.

"I didn't say I wouldn't try..." He says as he tilts my head up, to look into his chocolate brown eyes.

I'm speechless. Damn... How can he do this to me?! Speak Roxanne speak!!

"Which song do you want?" He asks breaking the silence, but staying right where we are.

"Well, I really have no idea..." I say as I chuckle lightly, which he does too.

"How about Stitches?" He asks.

"Form Shawn Mendes?!" I ask, surprised by his choice.

"I don't live under a rock you know..." He says smiling.

"I don't know... It's hard to do a choreography with that one..." I reply smiling back at him.

"Well..." He says as he crosses his arms over his chest, acting like he was thinking.

"How about Pompeii?" I ask liking the option since I've always seen this song for a duet.

"Ooh, that's a nice one..." He says with a smirk on his face.

"I agree..." I say smiling and blushing a little at the same time.

"So, are you going to the game tomorrow?" I ask as I look at him again.

"Are you going?" He asks back, which I answer with a nod. "Then yes..."

"Great... See you tomorrow then..." I say as I start to walk out of the classroom and to my locker, leaving my partner alone with his thoughts.

*End Of Flashback*

"So you guys are dancing again!" Ari says yelling of excitement.

"Yeah..." I say as I chuckle and blush a little.

"*squeal* And he'll be there tomorrow!" She says jumping up and down on the couch.

"I know!" I yell as I squeal a little.

"OMG, you need to look amazing..." She says with sass in her tone. I think I lost her. She then gets up from the couch and starts heading for the stairs.

"Ar, wait for me!" I say as I run to catch up with her.

"Slow Poke." She teases, and then sticks her tongue out.

"Look who's talking..." I say as I stick my tongue out too.

"Let's just choose your outfit..." She says as we head into my room and I get ready to be bombarded with options I could wear.
