All I can see is broken glass. I can hear a beeping sound on my ears, so I close my eyes, and my stomach feels weird. I open my eyes again to find my head on the steering wheel, not being able to move. I squint my eyes when I feel pain in my stomach. My breathing is uneven and my heartbeat is too fast. I lean back slowly feeling like every move I make makes my energy drown. Then I look down and all I can see is blood. All over the seat and my abdomen. I feel dizzy but I don't want to fall asleep. If I fall asleep, I might never wake up again.

I squint my eyes once again and lean my head back as I feel more pain go through my body. The beeping sound leaves as I start to hear sirens and, so, I open my eyes. Now I see red and blue and white lights, all of them flashing. Figures are walking in my direction, and I can slowly feel myself drifting. I close my eyes, finally telling myself that I need to rest; that there's no choice.

"Hey! Can you hear me?" Says a voice on the distance.

"She can't know..." I mumble, probably too low for anybody to hear. Roxanne can't know that this happened. She would be too destroyed by this. I open my eyes slightly.

"Son... What's your name?" Asks a man who's flashing a flashlight on my eyes as they try to take me out of my car... Wait, this is not my car... Oh, no... Bob's gonna kill me, well, if I don't die here.

"This is not my car..." I say in a low voice, but loud enough for them to hear.

"Don't worry about the car... Right now we need to worry about you. What's your name, son?" He asks one more time. This time the door, that was bent to the inside, has been removed.

"Ca-" pain starts to come back and I squint my eyes again, then I put my arm around my stomach and I can feel myself on the verge of crying. "Cal-Calum..."

"Okay Calum... We're going to put you on a stretcher, I need you to stay still for a moment..." He says. I nod lightly. "Here we go Calum..." Arms go around my waist and legs, and a hand on the back of my neck. "One, two, three..." One of them say as they lift me, and pain goes around my body, I curse under my breath.

"It's okay Calum... We are taking you to the hospital..." Says one of the men. "Here we go..."

I feel them lift the stretcher up into the ambulance and I feel like drifting again.

"Okay Calum... My name is Jason... I need you to talk to me about anything..." Says the man that first talked to me, as he cuts my tanktop with the scissors and for the first time I can see the wound.

"What about?" I ask trying to take my mind away from the pain and the anxiety of seeing so much blood.

"Well, you're a handsome guy, is there any lucky girl?" Jason asks as he cleans the wound, which looks even worst every time I look, even if it is blurry.

"Actually, yes... But you can't tell anyone..." I start saying, and he nods. "Her name is Roxanne... She's the most wonderful girl I've ever met... And I don't know what I'd do without her..."

"Well Calum... Your wound is quite deep and you've lost a lot of blood... But, promise me you'll fight for this girl, because she sounds worth fighting for..." He says as he smiles and the doors from the ambulance open. They take me out and run inside saying that they need a surgery room.

My vision's not focusing anymore and the voices are starting to feel distant. Still, I can feel people taking my clothes off and putting on the robe for the surgery. I hear the 'beeps' from the machines and doors opening and closing. But the voices feel distant. I feel the lifting process from the stretcher to the surgery table. And right there and then I remember I didn't answer Jason's question.
