Calm yourself down. Chill... You've practice for this for weeks. Yes, there was a time when you couldn't, but you know the whole thing. It'll be alright. Plus you have an amazing partner. And that partner is going to be amazing too. Chill...

"R!" Says my bestie from behind me, which makes me turn around.

"Hey..." I say as I start to bite my nails.

"Stop being so nervous... You'll be fine... You're one of the best dancers I know, and you practiced a lot!" She says while her hands rest on my shoulders.

"Thank you Ari... I really needed that..." I say as I smile at her.

"Am I late or are you early?" Asks my boyfriend from behind me.

Ari leaves and I turn around.

"I was early..." I say taking his hands on mine.

He looks at me with a 'don't try to be polite' look.

"Okay! You were late..." I say as I half smile at him.

He chuckles. "Sorry... Traffic." He smiles, and leans down and kisses my cheek.

"Apology accepted..." I say before taking a deep breath.

"You alright?" He asks, concern all over his face.

"Nervous..." I say as I smile nervously.

"If you're nervous, imagine me!" He says with a giggle. Damn... He does know how to make me feel better.

"But no one will know it's you!" I say as I nudge his shoulder.

"Even better... 'Cause that means you'll be the one they'll be admiring, and my job will be to make you look even better than you already do..." He says as he brushes a strand of hair that fell on my face.

"Next up... Roxanne Prescott with a duet..." Says a woman through the intercom.

"Here we go..." He says smiling at me and putting his hands on my shoulders to turn me around.

I let out a squeal out of nervousness, this causes him to chuckle. We get into our positions and the music starts, letting a dim spotlight point at me.

"This is it..." I say to myself before starting the dance with my partner.

People clap as we take our last step and the music stops. I look into his eyes and see the small wrinkles on the sides as he smiles. The dim spotlight makes him look even more cute and attractive. I smile at him, and engulf him in a hug. While hugging he pulls me up, and runs out of stage, which earns a giggle from me. He puts me down, both of laughing.

"I'm pretty sure I messed up in one part..." He says as he takes my hands on his.

"No one noticed..." I say as I get on my tiptoes.

I crash my lips on his, him responding just at the touch. We pull apart quickly, not wanting to make a make out scene for everyone backstage.

"You guys were awesome!" Says Ari as she comes skipping towards me.

Why is she skipping? I'm the one that skips. Something happened to my girl... She hugs us both and I hear a squeal from her. Okay, something is definitely going on.

"Ar... Spill it!" I say as put my hands on my hips.

"I'll give you girls a minute..." Cal says as he kisses my cheek and then walks away.

I look at Ari again, with a face that says 'tell me what your hiding'.

"*sight* Well, Ashton and I kissed!" She says with a wide smile, and then starts jumping up and down.

I mimic her actions and then we hug.

"Uh, how was your audition?" I ask as we pull away from the hug.

Her audition was at the same time as mine, but she was auditioning for a scholarship on playing guitar. She wants to study music, she'll probably take the composition side.

"It was good, I think I might get that scholarship..." She says smiling at me.

"Roxanne..." Says someone from behind me.

Ari says she'll meet the guys, to call if I need anything, and leaves. I turn around look at the guy I once liked.

"Charlie..." I say as I smile a little. Not an 'I am your friend' smile, but a 'we can talk like normal people' smile.

"I wanna apologize about what I did to you... Truth is I got caught up on social stuff and I guess I just didn't know how to balance my time well. I'm sorry... I hope we can at least try to be friends..." He says, a sad look on his face, showing how sorry he is.

"I forgive you Charlie. And we can be friends, but it will take time." I say as I smile at him.

"Okay... Nice audition by the way... And tell Calum that he's a lucky guy." He says chuckling lightly.

"Thanks, same to you. And I'll tell him..." I say as he starts walking to where he was.

I head out of the auditorium and meet my friends outside, who are with my family as well.

"There's my baby!" Says my mom as she hugs me tightly. "You were great up there. I'm so proud of you!"

I laugh a little as we pull away. I proceed to hug my dad and my brother. After that I turn to the guys, and I prepare myself for impact. They all go around me hug me until I fill like I don't have air.

"You were really good!" Says Luke as he tickles me a little.

I chuckle and feel someone ruffling my hair.

"Hey!" I say as turn around slightly, since they're still attacking me with a bear hug. Michael chuckles and squeezes me gently.

"This is the best bear hug you'll ever have..." Ashton giggles.

I laugh at all of them.

"Can't... Breathe..." I say a little too dramatic.

They all step back, except for Calum, who puts his arm over my shoulders and kisses my head.

"I'm proud of you..." He says looking into my eyes.

"I'm proud of you too..." I kiss him on the cheek.

After that, we head to eat dinner with the guys, Ari, her sister and her parents, and my family; where we talk about everything and anything. We all just have a great time like the great big family that we are.
